Good day all. The state of Utah’s biggest mistake in decades has once again opened his beg fat mouth and shoved both his feet into it. I speak of none other then the Uniparty RINO Mittens Romney. He has announced that the Republican party has “Strayed” and it will be years before it returns to what it should be.
The Republican party that Mittens thinks should be in place is the old country club globalists who will do whatever the Democrats tell them to do as long as Romney and his ilk get some crumbs from the floor. Here are the details of his latest idiocy from Newsmax:
The Republican Party has drifted away from the importance it had always placed on the character of its leaders, Sen. Mitt Romney told CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.
“We’ve strayed from that. I don’t see us returning to that for a long time,” Romney said. “As I look at the 2024 [GOP presidential] contenders, most of them are trying to become as much like Donald Trump as they can be.”
The Utah Republican also said his party has taken a “different course” from its support of free trade, attempts to keep government spending in check, and hawkishness on Russia.
“The party that I knew is one that was very concerned about Russia and [Vladimir] Putin and Kim Jong Un and North Korea, and we pushed back aggressively against them,” Romney said. “We were a party concerned about balancing the budget. We were happy to play a leadership role on the world stage, because we felt that made us safer and more prosperous. And we believed that character was essential in the leaders that we chose.”
I gather Mittens has forgotten that the Cold War is over. As for free trade? We saw what happened with that. Romney and his ilk got rich and the average American saw his or her job shipped out of the United States, and in many cases, to China. President Trump’s economic plans, which included confronting China and trashing the one sided “Free Trade” deals that Mittens and his cronies profited by created the greatest economic expansion since records started being kept.
Asked by host Jake Tapper if he has thought about leaving the party, as retiring Michigan GOP Rep. Paul Mitchell did recently, Romney said “I think I’m more effective in the Republican Party, continuing to battle for the things I believe in.”
Oh go ahead and leave you RINO scumbag. As it is, the people of Utah are having a serious case of voters remorse. If they could remove you, they would.
The 2012 GOP presidential nominee continued that “ultimately, the Republican Party will return to the roots that have been formed over, well, the centuries. So, we’ll get back at some point and, hopefully, people will recognize we need to take a different course than the one we are on right now.”
That should be “The 2012 Presidential failure who threw away his chance by falling back into the “Traditional” Republican way of doing things.” Wishy Washy, spineless and cowardly. As to his hope that people will see that his way is the better way? All I have to say is “Do you need a fresh crack pipe?”
Polls are showing that the Republican base likes the way the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald J. Trump, handled things. He did something that you would never do. He fought back against the media the Democrats and the Deep State. You? What did you do? You hate President trump so much that you were the only Republican to vote in favor of convicting him on those bogus impeachment charges. Don’t think people have forgotten that you two faced scumbag, they haven’t.
I hope you have your final retirement planned because you are out when the next election comes around. You will always be known as a One Term Wimp. You were to gutless to fight for a second term as Governor, and you’ve show what a craven, gutless pansy-assed wimp you are as a senator. Now go away, you bother me.
