Good day all. Liz Cheney is a Representative from Wyoming and is part of the House Republican leadership team. She has also demonstrated that she is politically tone deaf and a member in good standing of the Deep State RINO wing of the beltway Uniparty.
Cheney’s claim to fame of late was showing that she is actually a Never Trump fraud. She voted to Impeach the Greatest President of the 21st Century because she was scared when a bunch of people got into the Capitol building to make their feelings known about the Great Election Theft of 2020. Thanks to this, she has managed to completely deep six any future in politics, and is looking at a major primary challenge in 2022.
Right after her vote to impeach, there was a move to strip her of her position on the GOP leadership team. She managed to fight that off, (And showed who needs to be primaried as well in 2022), however she hasn’t bothered learning from the experience. Now she’s in the process of pissing off everyone who supports President Trump. Here are the details from the New York Post:
Tensions within Republican leadership boiled over during the House GOP retreat in Orlando, with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy taking aim at his No. 3 deputy, Rep. Liz Cheney, during a press conference on Tuesday.
Following Cheney’s announcement Monday that she would not rule out a run for president, potentially pitting her against former President Donald Trump in 2024, McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Cheney (R-Wyo.) distracts from the GOP’s policy goals in insisting on criticizing the former president.
“I think from a perspective if you’re sitting here at a retreat that’s focused on policy, focused on the future of making America the next century and you’re talking about something else, you’re not being productive,” he told reporters at a press conference Tuesday. McCarthy added that it’s “a question for the conference” on whether she remains a good fit for their leadership team.
First, Liz Cheney is delusional if she thinks she has any chance at being president. She has shown what she truly is, and that’s a Deep State Globalist who puts both her constituents and her Country second. Second, You had your chance to get rid of this two faced bitch, McCarthy, and you threw it away. You might try for a “Do over” but no one trusts you either.
The California Republican previously urged members to support Cheney during a conference-wide vote in February on whether she should be ousted from her role as House Republican conference chair, a position that entails helping lead their messaging efforts.
“People can have differences of opinion. … Liz has a right to vote her conscience. And at the end of the day, we’ll be united,” he said earlier this year about her vote to impeach Trump.
Cheney wasn’t “Voting her conscience” dumbass, she was looking out for herself as part of the Uniparty Elite in Washington. I don’t think she’s been back to Wyoming since she turned her coat, and the GOP in her state have had it with her. I doubt she will return to Wyoming for the remainder of her term in Congress. (Her poll ratings are so low, you need a powerful Earth penetrating radar system to find them)
But cracks in the working relationship between Cheney and McCarthy have become increasingly evident in recent months, with McCarthy no longer attending their weekly leadership press conferences following an awkward moment in February when they clashed over whether Trump should speak at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.
And here is where the problem arises. Cheney, like her dear old dead dad, is a fan of endless wars and not actually fighting to win a war. President Trump is a bit of what is called a “Jacksonian.” He didn’t want the United States to go to war unless there was no other alternative, but if he did have to use the military, he took the gloves off and let them get the job done. Just ask a Russian Mercenary Battalion in Syria. Oh wait, you can’t since they were bombed into oblivion since they went after Americans in country.
Cheney — a defense hawk and the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney — has repeatedly said she does not believe Trump should have a place in the party moving forward.
There is a small problem with that, since many are now saying that Cheney should be booted from the Republican Party herself.
Her stance has put her at odds with a number of her colleagues, who have accused her of providing Democrats with ammo to go after members and some even calling on her to apologize for her vote to impeach Trump.
She won’t of course, since she is nothing more then a swamp dwelling uniparty cow. In fact, she has doubled down on her stupidity.
But Cheney has stood firm in her position, telling The Post on Monday she believes that the senators who helped lead the efforts on challenging the election results should be disqualified from running for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024 — adding that she is not ruling out a bid herself.
“I think we have a huge number of interesting candidates, but I think that we’re going to be in a good position to be able to take the White House. I do think that some of our candidates who led the charge, particularly the senators who led the unconstitutional charge, not to certify the election, you know, in my view, that’s disqualifying,” she said.
What Cheney wants is to put the old School country club RINO’s of the Establishment GOP back into power. Like many of her ilk, she is out of touch with the mood of the Republican base, if she ever cared about them in the first place. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.
On Tuesday, McCarthy remained noncommittal on whether he would help campaign for Cheney in her primary challenge.
“I haven’t talked to her about it,” he said.
McCarthy has his own problems. One of them is the problem of the Wyoming Republican Party’s disowning of Cheney. They censured her for her vote to Impeach President Trump on yet more bogus charges, and they have all but disowned her. Cheney, rather then admit she was wrong is telling everyone who supports President Trump that they are wrong, and basically stupid.
It’s questionable if Cheney will hold on to her leadership position now. She might manage to, but her influence is all but gone. Her talk of running for President in 2024, (Assuming we have an election), is nothing more then a delusion on her part. It’s doubtful that she will even hold on to her seat in Congress. Basically it’s “Stick the fork in, She’s done.”
