Good day all. Since the early days of the Great Panicdemic of 2020, the Mostly Stupid Media has been actively attacking anything regarding where and how the Coronavirus came into being and potential treatments for it if President Trump or his supporters talked about it.
So hateful has the media been, that when President Trump, the Greatest President of the 21st Century, mentioned a French study on the efficacy of an old Malaria Treatment for the China Virus, the MSM instantly attacked it and actively worked to suppress any investigation into it.
When it came to where the virus came form, they were even worse. There was early indications that the virus might have escaped a lab in Wuhan, China, but the World Health Organization, with their lips firmly attacked to the Anus of the Communist Chinese Party, denied the possibility. Then a few people, such as Senator Tom Cotton wondered about the rumors he had been hearing, that the virus escaped from a lab, and was promptly attacked by the media.
So deep is the hatred of President Trump and people who supported him that any comments that made it seem that the virus was either accidentally or deliberately released from the lab in Wuhan were actively suppressed, even if they were coming from people who had the training to look into these things.
Zuckbook, Goolag, Twitler and other socialist media platforms, all of whom were happily performing fellatio on the CCP, were quick to remove anything that even hinted that the virus was anything but a naturally occurring disease and that it came from a marketplace that sold bats for food.
Then a funny thing happened. The Democratic CommuNazis appear to have successfully stolen the Presidential Election of 2020, and now the media is thinking, “Hmm, maybe this is something that escaped a lab after all.” The problem is, the MSM’s credibility is so bad, no one is listening to them anymore unless they can verify things from multiple sources. Now the MSM is trying to recover ans show that “Hey! We’re credible, really we are!” Here are some interesting details from Fox News:
Journalists continued to acknowledge Sunday that the media’s longstanding dismissal of the Wuhan “lab-leak” theory was in part due to Republicans pitching it.
Once widely cast aside as a racist “conspiracy theory” and “fringe” nonsense, the possibility that the coronavirus accidentally leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology has gained increasing credence in recent weeks. The saga has led to yet another reckoning for mainstream media journalists about groupthink and bias in the industry. Faced with criticism that they blasted the theory last year for political reasons, some reporters have admitted its Republican origins with figures like Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., former President Donald Trump, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo played into why they disparaged it.
ABC News Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl suggested on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday that figures like Trump and Pompeo were not taken seriously by members of the media, saying “now serious people are saying it needs a serious inquiry.”
“Yes, I think a lot of people have egg on their face,” Karl said. “This was an idea that was first put forward by Mike Pompeo, secretary of state, Donald Trump, and look some things may be true even if Donald Trump said them. Because Trump was saying so much else, that was just out of control, and because he was, you know, making a frankly racist appeal talking about Kung Flu, and the China virus, he said flatly this came from that lab, and it was widely dismissed … but now serious people are saying it needs a serious inquiry.”
The Fox article is loaded with “Mea Culpa’s” from the Moronically Stupid Media, with one left wing moonbat after another admitting to what most people already knew. That the MSM will flat out lie if the Republican Party says that it looks like the Sun rises in the east. They also made excuses for their incompetence by accusing President Trump of being a racist because he said we couldn’t trust the Chinese government.
In a new fact-check timeline that declared the lab theory was “suddenly” credible, the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler wrote, “The Trump administration’s messaging was often accompanied by anti-Chinese rhetoric that made it easier for skeptics to ignore its claims.”
Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake wrote an analysis titled, “The vexing ‘lab leak’ theory on China and the coronavirus,” in which he defended reporters dismissing the Trump administration claims that there was a high probability the virus originated in a lab.
“Given everything we know about how Trump handled such things, caution and skepticism were invited. That (very much warranted) caution and skepticism spilled over into some oversimplification, particularly when it came to summarizing the often more circumspect reporting,” Blake wrote.
How about this? The so called “Main Stream Media” hates President Trump. They hate the Republican party, and they hate and despise the millions of people that supported President Trump. The Media has also been actively aiding countries hostile to the United States for decades. Not every reporter is a shill for the Democrats or our enemies. Some, even at notoriously left wing newspapers are taking their compatriots to task.
The Washington Post’s Josh Rogin blasted reporters on Saturday for their sudden about-face, saying the facts on the ground had not changed out of the blue, and accusing them of bias, “general incompetence” and even “TDS,” short for Trump Derangement Syndrome. From Josh Rogan’s twitler feed came these remarks:
Most MSM reporters didn’t “ignore” the lab leak theory, they actively crapped all over it for over a year while pretending to be objective out of a toxic mix of confirmation bias, source bias (their scientist sources lied to them), group think, TDS and general incompetence.
Also, the lab leak theory didn’t change. It didn’t suddenly become credible. It didn’t jump from crazy to reasonable. The theory has always been the same. The people who got it wrong changed their minds. They are writing about themselves, with zero self awareness.
All these reporters scrambling to defend their own records on the lab leak theory are exposing their own hypocrisy & ignoring their basic error. Just report the facts. Don’t act like its your job to tell us whats ok to think or talk about. Own up to it when you fail your readers.
The problem with Mr. Rogin’s rant is that people have been asking this question for over a year and have not only been ignored, they have been banned from various platforms and in many cases, flat out threatened by the Progressive Liberal thugs, happily supported by the media. All I can say now is:
Outlets from the Washington Post and New York Times to CNN and NPR have gone from outright mockery of the idea to taking it seriously, and “fact checks” have been updated with editor’s notes about why the theory is no longer necessarily “debunked.” Former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield is among the proponents of the theory, pointing to the virus’ efficient transmission among humans and the “gain of function” research at the Wuhan lab.
CNN, NPR and all the other propaganda organizations, (They long ago gave up any semblance of being honest reporters looking for and providing facts), may be trying to change the narrative, but it isn’t going to work in the sense they are hoping. Thanks to their blind hatred, and their flat out willingness to actively cover up anything if it might have made President Trump look good, people are leaving them in droves.
For the television news divisions, their ratings are cratering. Even Fox News is suffering because they went into the tank for the Progressives on election night and have been downplaying the possibility that the Wuhan flu, if not a man made virus, might have accidentally escaped from the lab. The information has been out there for a long time and all of this. It’s been the small sites and conservative media outlets that have been trying to find the truth. You, the MSM have not been looking for the truth, but have been burying it. You’re done.
I fully expect that in the next few years several major news outlets will fold their tents and go out of business, or end up being taken over and massive structural changes imposed on them. CNN comes to mind. The have completely blown the credibility they spent decades building up. Now? Rumor is that their holding company is looking to get rid of them.
The New York Slimes has been circling the drain for decades, and eventually, their rich investors will say “Enough,” and pull out. The Washington Compost should have folded years ago. It’s only the truckloads of cash being funneled in by Jeff Bezos that is keeping the lights. As all these Journalists Propagandists are finally figuring out, once their credibility is gone, they aren’t getting it back.
