Gruesome Gavin Newsom’s supporters throw Hail Mary pass

Good day all. With the ongoing new regarding the Fall of Kabul, a lot of things have slipped under the radar. One such item is what amounts to a “Hail Mary Pass” regarding the impending recall election of Gruesome Gavin, “Hair Gel” Newsom. A couple of moonbats are trying to get the recall election declared unconstitutional.

The Kalifornistan Recall process has been in place for almost a century and has been used once to successfully boot a governor from office. It looks like this may be the second successful use to toss Govno Hair Gel Newsom out on his royal backside. This has some of his most ardent supporters deeply troubled and they are trying to get the election canceled. Here are the details from Politico:

Two California voters are challenging the legality of the state’s recall system less than a month before the Sept. 14 election, echoing concerns from constitutional scholars as Gov. Gavin Newsom fights for his political life.

A complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California argues that the state’s recall provision violates the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution by allowing sitting governors to be replaced by candidates who have received fewer votes. The plaintiffs, Rex Julian Beaber and A.W. Clark, want a court order either prohibiting the recall election or adding Newsom’s name to the replacement candidate list. Elections officials have already sent millions of ballots ahead of a state deadline today.

This has the smell of someone desperate to keep Govno Numbnuts in office at all costs. That they went straight to the Federal Courts instead of the state courts indicates to me that they are hoping that they get a nice, pliant Obama judge to shut down the election.

Constitutional law expert Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, raised that precise scenario in a New York Times op-ed last week arguing California’s recall process is unconstitutional. Chemerinsky and law and economics professor Aaron Edlin argued for altering the rules to allow governors stand as candidates on the second question and advocated for a legal challenge compelling the courts to intervene.

I looked up this so called “Constitutional Law Expert,” Erwin Chemerinsky. A quick look at his Wikipedia page tells me that he is a typical Progressive. He holds the Constitution in contempt. No doubt, this is why he is the dean of UC Berkeley.

Barking Moonbat

The court could declare the recall election procedure unconstitutional and leave it to California to devise a constitutional alternative,” Chemerinsky wrote. “Or it could simply add Mr. Newsom’s name on the ballot to the list of those running to replace him. That simple change would treat his supporters equally to others and ensure that if he gets more votes than any other candidate, he will stay in office.”

Actually, no. This system, as I mentioned, has been in place for almost a century and has been used once before. For the federal courts to shut down the election would spit in the face of the democratic process. Of course, being the Progressive Liberal Moonbat you are, I’m sure that he thinks elections are fine as long as the voters do as they’re told and vote the way he wants them to.

Chemerinsky and law and economics professor Aaron Edlin argued for altering the rules to allow governors stand as candidates on the second question and advocated for a legal challenge compelling the courts to intervene.

The whole point of a recall election is to recall and remove the sitting governor. There are two choices on the ballot. The first deals with the actual recall. If more then 50% of the people chose to keep Govno Numbnuts Hair gel, then he stays and the second part of the recall process doesn’t happen. If he is voted out then the second part kicks in. Obviously, you are one of Govno Hair Gel’s sycophants and are totally supportive of the tyrannical actions he’s taken over the lat 18 months.

Rex Julian Beaber, a Los Angeles attorney and clinical psychologist, would not say in an interview if he’s a Democrat.

“I would prefer not to say, simply because I think it’s irrelevant,” he said Monday. “To me it would be unfortunate if party politics was the driving force behind the consideration of this lawsuit. This lawsuit seeks on its face to declare a current California remedy as unconstitutional and it would apply regardless of whether it was a Democrat or a Republican already in office.”

In other words, he is a Democrat, or as the party is known these days, a Communazi.

Elected Democrats have not publicly embraced Chemerinsky’s reasoning or backed such a legal challenge. But Attorney General Rob Bonta said Monday that he was monitoring both the lawsuit and the underlying legal debate.

We’re aware of that argument and some of the other concerns and we’ll be making sure we stay abreast of this issue and monitoring it,” Bonta said, adding of the lawsuit, “We’ll be coordinating with the secretary of state’s office to determine next steps.

If the Federal Courts go Full On Stupid, (And one can never underestimate the stupidity and arrogance of an Obama Judge), and cancel the election, my advice would be to put your track shoes on and start running. The reason that 2 million people signed a petition to trigger a recall election is simple. They’ve had it with Govno Gruesome Newsom’s Marie Antoinette’s “Let them eat cake” attitude.

People are angry. No, they are furious at the “Progressive Elite” and how they’ve run Kalifornistan right into the ground. Strip them of a lawful means to remove a sitting governor and there is a better then even chance the gloves will come off and he will be removed in an extra legal manner, something no one, least of all Govno Numbnuts Hair Gel wants.

There is a reason that Kalifornistan is losing at least one House seat. People are voting with their feet and leaving. Recently, an actress I rather like, along with her husband and 2 children, (One a new born), pulled up stakes and moved across the country to a southern state. (I will not name her to respect her and her family’s privacy)

They have not stated the reason for the move, but it’s safe to say that it was financial, (Their taxes are going to drop significantly), as well as environmental. (Better schools, a lack of forest fires and not having to worry that a mob will storm their home and murder them) I suspect that although the actress has said she has voted Democrat, she would have voted to remove Newsom. (Other then saying she voted Democrat, she hasn’t made any other political statements)

She and her family were able to “Escape from L.A.” but to many others are trapped in the People’s Demokratik Repulik of Kalifornistan. Stripping them of their right to remove a tyrannical governor smacks of something out of the old Soviet Union or any other totalitarian state. Considering what passes for thought processes of Chemerinsky, I’m sure he is just fine with doing just that.
