Good day all. The Fall of Kabul continues to reverberate and the White House is still playing catch up with the Biden Caused Disaster. (BCD) Thousands, potentially 10’s of thousands of Americans are trapped in Afghanistan, unable to escape.
However, in the world of butterflies, unicorns and rainbows that Reach Around Psaki lives in. there are no Americans stranded at all in Afghanistan, and to say there is, is “Irresponsible.” Here are the details from Fox News:
White House press secretary Jen Psaki grew visibly annoyed during the press briefing Monday, August 24th, when she was asked whether President Biden was aware that most of the criticism against the Afghanistan withdrawal was about Americans being “stranded” in Kabul.
“Does the president have a sense that most of the criticism is not of leaving Afghanistan? It’s the way that he has ordered it to happen by pulling the troops before getting these Americans who are now stranded. Does he have a sense of that?” Fox News’ White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked.
This annoyed Reach Around that anyone would dare question her guiding light, Jake Sullivan President Bumbling Dementia, wisdom and skills in running away withdrawing our out troops.
Psaki said it was “irresponsible” to say that Americans are stranded in Afghanistan. “I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They are not. We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home.”
And right there is the “Out” that is being set up for the abandonment of Americans in Afghanistan. If they remain and get brutally killed or, in the case of women, forced into sex slavery, it’s because they wanted to stay behind. Fox News’s Peter Doocy was having none of that!
Doocy followed up and asked whether “there are no Americans stranded” is the official White House position.
“I’m just calling you out for saying we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan when we have been very clear that we are not leaving Americans who want to return home,” Psaki said. “We are going to bring them home and I think that’s important for the American public to hear and understand.”
No, actually, you aren’t. These people are scattered all over Afghanistan, mostly working for NGO’s. Thanks to the Epic Biden Fail, they had no warning that the Taliban would overrun the country so rapidly, and since the maladministration ignored all warnings, they didn’t send out any alerts. Finally there was the incompetence now underway regarding the bug out. In a reverse of every procedure laid down, the military pulled out first and left the civilians to fend for themselves. Meanwhile, Peter Doocy let fly with another salvo of facts.
Doocy later asked Psaki whether Americans being beaten up by the Taliban and Afghans passing babies over barbed-wire fences was what Biden meant when he said, “America is back.”
Oh this should be good.
“What the president meant is that we are going to continue to lead in the world including being the leaders in evacuating not just our Afghan partners, not just American citizens, but also our allies,” Psaki replied.
Meanwhile, reports are coming in of Americans being beaten and their passports stolen by the Taliban and other RIF’s now running rampant in Afghanistan, thanks to President Bumbling Dementia’s usual level of competence. (That would be none)
Fox News had reached out to Psaki on Saturday about an American woman who described being trapped from reaching the Kabul airport. The White House never issued a response.
“I really have given up hope, given up on the hope of going to the airport,” the woman, whose identity is being withheld due to concerns for her safety, told Fox News. “It’s just not possible to make it through all those people.”
She said there are as many as 20 Taliban checkpoints between her and the airport – and she’s one of an uncertain number of American citizens trapped behind enemy lines.
She was whipped by Taliban fighters on one attempt to get through, she said. A man standing near her was shot in the head on another try, leaving his wife and baby in tears. Since then, she’s been in hiding.
Well, if she is fairly young and attractive, she’s going to be handed off to some Taliban terrorist as a “Wife” in fairly short order. I hope she doesn’t mind spending the next 10+ years in a state of near constant pregnancy. However, she won’t be alone. I wonder how many American families were working over there with adolescent daughters?
Psaki’s lies, and the drivel she’s been putting out is just that, lies, should be prosecutable. At the very least, she needs to be held accountable for her words. We have seen lies like this coming out of the White House Press Office since the Obama regime. This will come back to haunt Reach Around Psaki someday.
