Does Terry McAuliffe understand that voters don’t like being lied to?

Terry McAuliffe is in deep doodoo politically. He is running for another term as governor of Virginia, (You can’t hold the seat for two consecutive terms), and he has been shooting himself in the foot with a machinegun of late. First it was his remarks that parents have no say in their children’s education, then it was the lies about CRT not being taught in public schools.

Now he has gone and done it again. Because parents are ready to lynch the school boards, McAuliffe decided to try and get on their side by praising the public school system. There as just a small problem with that. Here are the details from Fox News:

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe praised his state’s education system on Sunday, noting that he has raised five children there even though four of them went to private high schools.

Education has been a major focus of the race between McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin, as they have been at odds over parental involvement in curriculum development.

With regards to parental involvement, Youngkin is for it, McAuliffe is not just against it, but wants parents sent to Guantanamo Bay as domestic terrorists. The problem with this dumbass is that he just doesn’t know when to shut up.

“We have a great school system in Virginia. Dorothy and I have raised our five children,” McAuliffe said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” during an interview in which he slammed Youngkin’s positions on education.

Yep, they did. Of course, they didn’t send most of their little darlings to the Public schools.

While this may be true, four out of McAuliffe’s five children went to private high schools.

According to a Washington Post profile from 2013, when after McAuliffe won a previous election to become governor, one of McAuliffe’s sons attended Gonzaga College High School, a Catholic institution in Washington, D.C., that has a current annual tuition of $24,950, not including meals or transportation.

That price tag is a bargain compared to The Potomac School in McLean, Va., where three of McAuliffe’s other went to high school. According to their website, Potomac’s tuition for the 2021-22 school year is $45,650 per year from grades 9-12.

Wow! Who know being the Clinton bagman paid so well?

Fox News reached out to McAuliffe’s campaign for comment but they did not immediately respond.

I suspect the reason for the lack of response was everyone going:

McAuliffe is a typical member of the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazi elite. Do as as he commands, not as he actually does. Hopefully, the parents of Virginia will do the right thing and send this lying waste of oxygen packing.
