Virginia Democrats protecting sexual predators in schools

Good day all. Recently, Virginia became Ground Zero in a political battle between the school administrators, school boards, teachers and parents. One of the unintended consequences of the closing the schools and doing remote teaching, was parents finally getting to see just what their children were being taught.

To say they are unhappy would be a very large understatement, and parents have been very loud in their objections, so much so, the National School Board Association, colluding with the Biden Maladministration, had tried to get the DoJ to go after parents using the Patriot act and calling them Domestic Terrorists. That has blown up in their faces.

Other things that have driven parents over the edge is all the “Transgendered” nonsense being pushed down their children’s throats in direct opposition to the parents. One of these policies basically let boys who pretend to be girls into the girls bathrooms. To say that parents, particularly fathers of teenage daughters were upset would be an understatement.

It finally came to a head when one of these fathers, after his daughter had been raped by one of the “boys identifying as a girl” mental defectives, found out that the school boards covered up the incident. He let fly at the local school board, (Loudoun County), when he found out that not only were they letting teenage boys go into the girls bathrooms and locker rooms, they tried to cover up the crime instead of handing it over to the police.

One of the things that has come out was a little known law that was passed, and that the racist governor of Virginia, Ralph “Blackface” Northam signed, allowed schools to not report crimes like this. Here are the details from the National Review:

Democrats in the Virginia General Assembly voted for — and Governor Ralph Northam signed — a law allowing schools to refrain from reporting instances of sexual battery, stalking, violation of a protective order, and violent threats occurring on school property in 2020.

§ 22.1-279.3:1 of Virginia code had required that these, among a number of other major crimes, be reported to law enforcement if they occurred on campus. Democrats insisted that misdemeanors be extirpated from reporting requirements in House Bill 257, replacing the word “criminal” with “felony” in the code.

When parents send their children to school, they are assuming two things. First, that their children will be receiving the best education possible and second, that the school will protect their children from harm. The problem is what happens when the Woke, politically correct Progressives are in charge. The last thing that enters their tiny little minds is the education and safety of children.

In a stunning exchange between legislators in the House of Delegates last year, Todd Gilbert, the Republican Leader in the body, asked Delegate Mike Mullen “did I hear correctly that you would not have to report sexual battery to law enforcement any longer if we accept these amendments?”

I would answer the minority leader that he is not hard of hearing, and that he is asking me to repeat this over again even though he heard it the first time,” responded Mullen, the bill’s sponsor.

Forgive me, Madam Speaker, ladies and gentlemen, for being shocked that the patron, a career prosecutor, would want to accept these amendments, and frankly would want to put you all in the position of voting to accept these amendments,” shot back Gilbert.

So I apologize for my hard of hearing, but frankly I couldn’t believe my ears,” he added.

The bill passed, since the Communazis currently control the State government in Virginia. This was just one of many really bad and frankly, evil laws passed and signed by that thug governor over the last few years.

The contentious back-and-forth has taken on new relevance a year and a half later, after a bombshell story from the Daily Wire alleged that Loudoun County Public Schools sought to conceal the rape of a 15-year-old female student by a male student wearing a skirt in the girls’ bathroom. The facts of what happened next are disputed somewhat.

While the father of the victim claims that he was told upon his arrival at the school that everything pertaining to the incident would be handled “in house,” Loudoun County Public Schools released a statement that alleges that the “Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office was contacted within minute of receiving the initial report” on the day of the attack. For its part, the Sheriff’s Office says that “an LCSO School Resource Officer was notified by Stone Bridge High School staff of a possible sexual assault.  A thorough investigation and evidentiary analysis was conducted over the course of several weeks by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.”

I find it interesting that the father wasn’t contacted by the police on this matter. I would assume it was his daughter who told him. That’s apparently when the father contacted the school to find out what happened and what was going on.

Regardless of the facts of the immediate aftermath, though, school officials would have been legally bound to report the incident to law enforcement since it crossed over the line from the misdemeanor of sexual battery and into the felony of sexual assault.

That said, the school’s attempt to push through the scandal without alerting — and in fact while actively misinforming the public — in an effort to change school policy to allow biological males into female restrooms and locker rooms would have been made even easier had the culprit’s behavior not crossed the arbitrary line into sexual assault.

That’s when the School administration started flat out lying to the public about what happened.

At a school board meeting on transgender guidance held less than a month after the attack, Loudoun County Public Schools superintendent Scott Ziegler announced that “to my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.”

Even if the crime hadn’t “reached the level” where it would have triggered a call to the police, the school still had to inform the parents and the district administration. They obviously didn’t call the parents about this. Even after the bill passed the general Assembly in Virginia, the Mr. Gilbert tried to get Northam to veto it. Northam, being a completely corrupt, slimy weasel sing it into law. One of the probable reasons he did was the Teachers Union. That pack of Marxist scum were fully on board with this.

Jim Livingston, the president of the largest teachers’ union in the state, the Virginia Education Association, supported the legislation, holding that “it’s time we move away from a one-size-fits-all approach to reporting and tap into the experience and expertise of our front-line school principals.”

Later on, the father of the victim, Scott Smith confronted the School board about this. Their answer was to declare his remarks an “Unlawful Assembly, and had the police drag him from the meeting. The District Attorney was only to happy to prosecute Mr. Scott, since she is one of the Soros Prosecutors who have been wrecking havoc on cities around the country.

It was this, and other actions that triggered the Maladministration to work with the National Association of School Boards to demand that anyone who stood against them be declared a Domestic Terrorist under the Patriot Act. That has already blown up in the faces of the maladministration and Heinrich Himmler Garland has been trying to weasel his way out of admitting any wrong doing.

There is currently an election underway for Governor in Virginia. The two candidates, former governor and Clinton Bag Man, Terry McAuliffe and Glenn Youngkin. It was assumed that the McAuliffe was going to walk away with the election. That was an accurate statement until he opened his mouth and inserted his foot, announcing that he didn’t think that Parents should have any say in their children’s education.

Now the election is a statistical dead heat, which probably means that Mr. Youngkin is leading. From what I can see, the state Assembly is not up for election. I believe there are other state offices that are up as well. If the Republicans manage to pull this out and sweep the elections, it will send a seismic wave in the Magnitude 9 range through the political class. (This is why several moonbat counties are already trying to rig the election in McAuliffe’s favor) No matter what happens, a critical mass has been reached and the reactions have started.
