Good day all. Things have been moving fast today with regards to Elon Musk’s tender offer to buy all of the Twitter shares and take the company private. Twitter management had a “Company town meeting” to discuss what is happening and what comes next.
No details of the meeting have been released to my knowledge, but I have a video of one person’s reaction.
The twitter feeds from employees have ignited like a dried up Christmas tree with shorted out lights. A lot of employees are talking about “Looking at their options” of Musk’s offer is accepted. The general response to these people by the “Deplorables” has been pretty basic:
I don’t expect any real news on the offer until next week. Basically, if the Board of Directors refuses the offer, Elon Musk will sell his stake, and in all probability, Twitter will crash and burn. You will also get a lot of shareholders suing the board over their decision. I really wish I had bought those popcorn futures now.
