Good day all. Four years ago, the voters of Utah made a mistake. They elected the notorious TransRepublican, Mittens Romney, the former failed governor of the People’s Democratic Republic of Taxachusetts to replace the well known RINO, (and now safely dead), Orrin Hatch as one of their United States Senators.
Romney’s popularity has pretty much cratered in Utah and the belief is that he will “Retire” at the end of his term instead of being voted out in the Primary in 2024. One of the reasons was his voting to Impeach the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. Romney did this for a simple reason. He hates Donald Trump and the feeling is mutual.
Romney’s vote, along with his constant “Crossing the aisle” ala John McSlime has further angered the Deplorables, and they are not shy in letting Mittens know what they think of him. Because of this, the ever so courageous Mittens Romney now goes out in public wearing a disguise. Here are the details from Business Insider:
Republican Sen. Mitt Romney reportedly likes to go incognito while in Palm Beach, Florida. The Utah conservative has been wearing hats while dining out in the wealthy oceanside enclave, where he has a vacation home, in an effort to disguise himself, a family friend told the authors of the new book “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.”
“If he were recognized by Trump supporters there, there was a good chance he would be harassed,” New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns wrote.
Considering that Romney is a two timing, slimy, good for nothing lying weasel it makes sense that people are upset with him. However, there is a difference between the Deplorables that Romney fears and the average Antifa loving Progressives. The MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters won’t try to kill him.
It’s not Romney’s first attempt at going undercover. He admitted in 2019 to using a secret Twitter account with the pseudonym “Pierre Delecto” to defend himself on social media and “like” critical tweets about Trump.
Captain Dumbass thought he wouldn’t be discovered. I think it took the weaponized autistic’s of 4Chan about 15 minutes to identify him and spread the word far and wide.
Romney — the 2012 Republican presidential nominee — has been a vocal critic of Trump’s, calling him a “phony” and a “fraud” during the run up to the 2016 presidential election.
Pot, meet kettle. Romney basically threw away the 2012 election. In the first debate with Obama, he handed him his head. Romney, the spineless jellyfish that he is, was horrified that he actually hammered Obama into the pavement, and made sure that would never happen again.
When President Trump started winning primaries and showing the Republican base that they didn’t have to choose yet another craven Globalist Uniparty Rino in Jeb! “Please Clap” Bush as their next loser, Romney and the others in the Country Club GOP(e) went completely off the rails. When Jeb! Bush’s campaign crashed and burned, Romney tried to get Trump off the ticket at the Republican convention.
When President Trump actually won the election and defeated Felonia von Pantsuit, Romney once again demonstrated that he only cares about himself. He went hat in hand to President-Elect Trump and begged him to be appointed Secretary of State. Trump was polite, but we all knew what the answer would be.
In 2018, Mittens conned the voters of Utah into electing him as their junior senator. Once his TransRepublican ass was safely ensconced in the Senate, Mittens began making a complete ass of himself. Once there, he started doing everything he could to “Get Trump!”
In February 2020, Romney earned the distinction of becoming the first senator to vote in favor of removing a president from his own party from office because of what he described as Trump’s “appalling abuse of public trust.” He voted to convict Trump of abuse of power for pressuring Ukrainian officials to investigate the Biden family.
That impeachment was a travesty. It was caused by a treasonous Colonel who flat out lied about what happened. When the reports of President Trump “Abusing” his position came out, the White House promptly released the transcripts, and if I recall correctly, the recordings of the call in question. It showed that the whole thing was a complete load of horseshit. However, being the professional backstabbing scumbag that he is, Romney was happy to vote to remove the Greatest President of the 21st Century.
A year later, Romney was among seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump in his impeachment trial in connection with the January 6, 2021, insurrection, though Trump was acquitted by the Senate.
There you go again, using that word “Insurrection” again. Someone needs to provide the Business Insider a dictionary where they can look up the actual meaning of the word. If there had been an insurrection on January 6th, the people going into the Capitol would have been armed to the teeth and would have dragged all the Democrats, and a fair number of Republicans out and hanged them.
As some Republicans began to embrace Trump again after he left office, others — including Romney’s wife Ann — were fearful for their safety, the authors wrote. She told the authors that her five sons were proud of their father but unsure about the Republican Party.
“Trump’s dominance, she said, made it uncertain whether any of the boys could run for office as Republicans,” the authors wrote.
Here’s a simple answer. If they’re anything like “Daddy,” then the answer is no. I’m sure they could fit in with the Democratic Communazis. They like two timing lying scumbag elitists who think they should rule America. As for Romney’s “Disguises,” I’ve located a picture of him in one of them.
