Good day all. Teachers unions across the country have become Marxist, anti-American threats to the well being of America’s children. They’re also working to institute racist policies in schools.
One of these policies is an agreement with the school district that states that white teachers will be the first laid off. Here are the details of this racist agreement from Fox News:
An agreement between the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers union and the school district states that White teachers will be laid off before teachers of color, regardless of their seniority.
The agreement, which was reached to end a two-week teacher strike last spring, says that starting this school year, “if excessing a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the site, the district shall excess the next least senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population.”
In other words, it won’t be “Last hired, first fired,” which is generally the way a layoff works un a union shop, nor will it be those who have the least valuable skill sets. The layoff criteria will solely be based on someones skin color.
The agreement further goes on to say that when reinstating teachers, “the District shall prioritize the recall of a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the district.”
Of course, both the district and the union have a reason for this flat out racist plan.
According to the agreement, the purpose of the policies is to solve for “past discrimination” by the district, which the agreement said “disproportionately impacted the hiring of underrepresented teachers in the District, as compared to the relevant labor market and the community, and resulted in a lack of diversity of teachers.”
I can’t believe that the school district and the union actually put this into writing. If this is implemented, there are going to be some very rich lawyers and even richer former teachers. It might even end up breaking this union. What’s even better, is that they are doubling down on stupid.
Edward Barlow, a band teacher and member of the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers executive board, told the Star Tribune that the agreement can be a “national model” for finding ways to retain teachers of color.
Leave it to the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazis and their Union paymasters to flat out ignore the law and the Constitution. I can’t believe they think they’re going to get away with this. The first time a white teacher is let go who has greater seniority then someone who is retained and happens to be black…well the civil suits are going to be massive, and it’s going to hit both the school district and the union.
I have to wonder if the union members were aware of this agreement? Somehow, I don’t think so. While I’m not a lawyer, (To which I give everlasting thanks), I would think that this wold also raise to the level of potential criminal charges. I’ll let those who know about this provide better information through our comments.
It’s idiocy like this that has turned parents against both the school boards and the teachers unions. That this union came up with something so blatantly racist and thinks it’s a good idea is going to drive an even bigger wedge between the various parties. I suspect that we will start seeing unions being disbanded, and possibly by force, (Legal action taken to decertify the union as a criminal enterprise under the RICO statutes), in the next 3 to 5 years. It won’t be a moment to soon.
