Good day all, Charlie Crist is political has been who has decided to go down in flames once again by challenging the popular current governor, Ron DeSantis. I suspect the only reason the Democrats chose him is that no one else wanted to try.
Crist is one of those political hacks that will change parties if it appears that it will benefit him. He has switched from the Republican party to the Democrat Party and is fully on board with their totalitarian ideals. He recently thought it was a great idea to insult voters in Florida by telling them he didn’t want their vote. According to the Washington Times:

Echoing Hillary Clinton’s disparaging of “deplorables,” Mr. Crist trashed backers of popular Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, saying, “those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him, and I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there.” Hate?
Doubling down on stupid, Crist recently announced his choice for Lieutenant Governor. In another slap at the voters of Florida, he selected the head of one of the Teachers unions. Here are those details from Fox News:
Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist has selected the president of the Miami-Dade County teachers union to be his running mate, placing education at the forefront of his campaign as he seeks to defeat incumbent GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis in November.
United Teachers of Dade President Karla Hernandez-Mats was announced as Crist’s running mate on Saturday during a campaign event held in Miami.
“This guy’s the opposite of freedom,” Crist said of Gov. DeSantis shortly after taking the stage to speak to supporters. “We are for real freedom. Freedom for all of you.”
“I’m excited to introduce to you a wonderful person,” Crist said. “Karla is an amazing person. She really is.” Describing her as a “loving” and “compassionate” teacher during his introduction of Hernandez-Mats, Crist said, “You know her, I love her, meet the next lieutenant governor of Florida, Karla Hernandez.”
I see that Crist intends to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the Florida Teachers Unions. Of course, most Parents are just about ready to string the union leadership up from lamp posts right now, what with the school closures, CRT garbage, trying to turn 7 year old’s into Transsexual playthings and generally indoctrinating instead of teaching their children. Good thinking Crist.
Hernandez-Mats, a vocal critic of actions taken by DeSantis in recent years, pushed back on his attempt to re-open schools in the Sunshine State amid the COVID-19 pandemic and insisted schools should not be re-opened until “the safety of our community is secured.”
“The notion that reopening our schools is an option because ‘if you’re younger, it just hasn’t had an impact’ is not only completely contradictory to what we know to be the facts of this pandemic, it is dangerous for our communities at large,” Hernandez-Mats said in 2020 regarding DeSantis’ remarks, according to NBC 6 South Florida.
We have seen this from the Teacher’s unions across the country. They continue to demand that the schools be closed even though we know the damage that has been done. This is one of the reasons that a lot of parents have had it with the unions and want to see them broken.
Hernandez-Mats also drew criticism from residents in Florida last October when she shared a tweet comparing parents who attend school board meetings to prominent, fictional serial killers, including Freddy Krueger from the horror film franchise “Nightmare on Elm Street” and Jason Voorhees from the classic Friday the 13th films.
Hernandez-Mats is also an apparent supporter of the now safely dead Fidel Castro.
Hernandez-Mats has also faced criticism for a 2016 tweet that claimed “many in Cuba” were mourning and “most in Miami” were rejoicing over the death of Fidel Castro, the Cuban dictator who embraced communism and the former Soviet Union and whose economic policies created unrest and havoc in Cuba.
Not to be outdone by his running buffoon mate, Crist is one of the few Democrats who wants the worst president* in American history to come to Florida and campaign for him.
Earlier this week, Crist, a former Republican who has represented Florida’s 13th Congressional District as a Democrat in the House since 2017, told CNN that he would “absolutely” welcome President Biden to campaign with him in Florida and insisted that Biden is the reason “gas prices are down.”
“Look at what he’s — President Biden — done for our country. He’s been exceptional,” Crist said. “Look what he’s done for the world… what’s happening in Ukraine, him bringing NATO together, new members to NATO – Finland, Sweden. It’s remarkable. What other president could’ve done what he’s done? He’s been phenomenal. Gas prices are down. Inflation is trending down. Democracy is trending up.”
Out of Touch Charlie really is as stupid as Biden. Inflation is up, and gas prices are still almost double what they were under the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. As for Sweden and Finland joining NATO? The only reason they are doing this is flat out fear of what Putin will do next. Many Americans, including yours truly, think it’s time for the United States to pull out of NATO and should have done so decades ago.
Crist was once Governor of Florida. As I recall, he was so incompetent stupid he decided to pull a Romney and not try for a second term since he was going to be crushed in the primary. He hasn’t amounted to much since then, holding a seat in the House for the Florida 13th District. It seems that his district was altered and he may have decided that he was going to lose. This may explain why he has decided on a Kamikaze run for Governor.
There is a meme out there called “Florida Man.” A Florida man, (Usually male, but there have been a few “Florida Women” as well), is a man who performs an irrational or absurd act, such as running for governor and promptly insulting the majority of voters you will actually need to win. Charlie Crist is a classic Florida Man.
