Texas Legislature looks to ban racist D.E.I. programs in higher education

Good day all. One of the things that the Progressives love shoving down the throats of Americans is something call “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.” This is nothing but the Left’s latest attempt to split Americans into what they consider “Manageable groups.” There is a long winded definition of the D.E.I. policy, but the short version is simple. White Males are to blame for everything and should be punished.

There has been a lot of push back by parents and others regarding this drivel. It and Critical Race Theory have caused parents of school age children to launch an all out political and legal assault on the education system. Now the Texas legislature is looking to ban D.E.I from the state universities. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:

Texas legislators introduced a bill Friday banning diversity, equity, and inclusion at institutions of higher education.

The bill states that each public higher education institution, “shall adopt a policy detailing students’ rights and responsibilities regarding expressive activities at the institution,” including a commitment to “intellectual freedom” and “viewpoint diversity.”

One of the things that the D.E.I is used for is to shut down any and all diverse opinions on collage campuses. If it doesn’t meet the progressive criteria, it is banned as a violation of people’s diversity and inclusion. (If this sound moronic, trust me, it is) This is one of the things the bill intends to stop, the censorship of opinions that deviate from The Narrative.

The bill also adds that higher education institutions shall prohibit the “funding, promotion, sponsorship, or support of any office of diversity, equity, and inclusion” and “any office that funds, promotes, or supports an initiative or formulation of diversity, equity, and inclusion beyond what is necessary to uphold the equal protection of the laws under the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

In other words, ignore a person’s skin color or eye shape and concern yourself with the specific individual. This means there will be no money for “Black only” dorms or events, just as there won’t be any for “White only” or “Asian only.” One of the issues that has been cropping up under these Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies have been attempts to segregate collage campuses again. Sorry, we will have none of that crap. We put an end to it decades ago. (See Martin Luther King Jr.)

The bill also prohibits “the endorsement or dissuasion of, or interference with, any lifestyle, race, sex, religion, or culture.”

In other words, live and let live and don’t try to shove your beliefs onto others.

Additionally, the bill notes that higher education institutions have a “general responsibility” to “foster a diversity of viewpoints” and “maintain political, social, and cultural neutrality,” according to the legislation.

It’s been a long time since “Higher education institutions” have been either neutral or fostered different ideas. Anyone with a differing idea, (Usually conservative), has been blocked, attacked and suppressed by the “Institutions of Higher Learning.” If this bill passes and becomes law, schools, generally colleges and universities, are going to get it in the shorts if they try and enforce this Diversity, Equity and Inclusion garbage.

Any person can bring an action for “injunctive relief” against the university to get them to comply. If this is applied, the court must provide “reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs to the person” who wants to bring the action for injunctive relief, according to the legislation. The university must pay the fees and costs from the “budget of the office.”

While this may pass in Texas, it will never happen in places like the People’s Democratic Republics of Kalifornistan or Massachusetts. Places like Harvard and the University of Massachusetts will happily suppress anyone who doesn’t toe the “D.E.I. line, up to and including expulsion. Add to this the blatant discrimination in the Ivy League towards Asians and Caucasians, (Blocked from attending these schools because of racism by the administration and selection offices), and enrollment numbers are dropping.

I have no doubt at all that if this bill passes and becomes law, the “Ever so caring Progressives” will promptly sue to have it overturned. If they manage this, then the next answer is the simple one. Cut off ALL tax payer funding for these schools including any government loans or scholarships. Eventually, the Texas schools will run out of money.

As it is, many High school graduates are foregoing college. With the exception of some disciples, such as medicine, they don’t see any benefit to taking on massive debt for a degree that is pretty much worthless. Others are avoiding colleges because they don’t want to deal with the racist attitudes of the “Professional Educators and Administrators.” Hopefully, this bill will pass and be signed into law. Then the real fun in Texas schools will begin.
