Cocaine Mitch is “Worried” that GOP could screw up 2024

Good day all. The 2022 midterm elections should have been a slaughter for the Democrats. Instead, it was a wash with the Democrats getting a seat in the Senate, ending the tie. A major cause of this was candidates having their support pulled at the last minute by Mitch McConnell, costing the GOP several potential wins.

The basic reason for this is simple. The candidates supported the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, and they didn’t support Cocaine Mitch McConnell as the Republican leader in the Senate. McConnell pulled his PAC’s support at the last minute from several candidates and backed another no one liked simply to protect his position in the Senate.

Now that two-faced slimy little weasel is worried that the Republican Party might “Blow” the 2024 senatorial elections. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who has been working for months to recruit candidates to run in key Senate races, admitted he’s not confident Republicans will take back the majority next year despite a favorable map and the need to gain only one or two seats.

No, no — I’m not,” McConnell said in an interview with CNN when asked if Republicans felt confident about retaking the chamber next year. “I just spent 10 minutes explaining to you how we could screw this up, and we’re working very hard to not let that happen. Let’s put it that way.”

I think GOP has a far better chance if you just stay the Hell out of things. We know what your idea of a “Quality” candidate is. It’s someone like Lisa Murkowski, who should be fading into obscurity. Instead, you did everything you could to defeat the candidate that most of the Republican base in Alaska preferred. Why? Because Murkowski would back you and her opponent wouldn’t.

The Kentucky Republican is working to avoid repeating the mistakes of the 2022 midterm election cycle when a favorable political environment did not transfer at the ballot box, and Republicans lost a seat, resulting in a 51-49 Senate Democratic majority. McConnell recently landed a major recruit in West Virginia after Gov. Jim Justice (R-WV) jumped into the race for Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) seat in West Virginia. He’s also working to recruit candidates in Pennsylvania and Montana.

From what I’ve read, Governor Justice was all but assured to challenge Manchin. McConnell would have preferred Manchin if he had jumped to the Republican party. Manchin and McConnell have similar ideals. They are only interested in themselves.

As for Pennsylvania? Forget about it. That state has so badly rigged the election system in favor of the Democrats, either through intent or incompetence, that they put a vegetable into the Senate. (Granted, I didn’t like Oz and consider that a bad choice by the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump)

McConnell also said Republicans are still attempting to assess the situation in Wisconsin and Nevada, where it’s unclear whether the GOP wants to invest resources in those states. The Senate Republican leader also emphasized that Republicans will likely wait to see what happens in the primary in Arizona before they decide to engage.

Well there’s your problem. If you won’t challenge the Democrats, you are ceding the state to them. This is yet another reason that your and Ronna McDaniel aren’t trusted by the Republican base. The problem with Arizona is Maricopa County. If you want to win races there, you need to slam the Democrats for rigging things and the last of the McCainiacs still in place in that county. They’ve managed to screw up three elections.

The landscape in the Grand Canyon State is growing extremely unpredictable in what is expected to be a three-way race for the general election seat held by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), the former Democrat who became an independent in December. Progressives are supporting Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who announced he’s running as a Democrat. Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb became the first Republican to enter the race last month.

The actual Governor of Arizona, who had the race stolen from her either through intent or incompetence, Kari Lake is also considering running. She is someone that Cocaine Mitch will not support under any circumstances. Not because she can’t win, but for the simple reason she won’t bow to his “Leadership.” Right now, I have no idea of Sinema can win or not in Arizona. I do know that if it hadn’t been for McConnell, there is a good chance that New Hampshire would have dumped the two Democrats that we’re still stuck with. If he isn’t sidelined, then his “Prediction” will probably come true.

McConnell should have stepped aside and not run for reelection the last time he was up. I have a suspicion he intends to run again. He’s a professional politician after all and part of the Ruling Elites in the Beltway Uniparty. If he does run again, I hope he gets a good Primary opponent who beats him like a drum.

Here in Nevada we just elected a republican governor. This is very unusual because for a long time we’ve been an arm of CADNC. There is a chance here. I doubt, though, a Rino could do it.

There MUST be term limits and AGE limits for both the Senate and the House.
