Good day all. History is going to regard the Covid-19 response rather unkindly. One of the running jokes about the Covid-19 panicdemic regards all the so called conspiracy theories. The “Official” narratives not only belittled all the theories, the Federal Government actually moved to suppress any mention of things as to where the virus originated or question about the vaccines.
Over the last year to 18 months, many of the “Theories” actually proved to be true and accurate. Now we have yet another one, that the Biden Maladministration knew early own that the vaccines they were forcing people to take, weren’t really all that effective. Here are the details from The Washington Examiner:
Emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request show that CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and former NIH Director Francis Collins were aware of, and discussed, “breakthrough cases” of COVID in January 2021 — right when the vaccines became widely available. In her email, Walensky says that “clearly,” it is an “important area of study,” links to a study raising the issue, and assures the person she is sending it to that Dr. Anthony Fauci is looped into these conversations.
Fauci was the last person anyone should have asked about the efficacy of the vaccines. He may have been getting kickbacks from Pfizer and Moderna
However, in public, Walensky was saying something quite different. Two months after discussing this data, she said vaccinated people “don’t carry the virus” and “don’t get sick.” In a congressional hearing, after it became clear people were able to get infected with COVID even after receiving the vaccine, she defended her original statements by claiming it was true at the time she said it — namely, for the strands we were dealing with in early 2021.
I am not at all surprised that Walensky flat out lied to the American people about the vaccines. It was never about protecting anyone from a really bad cold, but about securing a large revenue stream for Big Pharma and absolute power for the Bureaucrats and the Democrats.
We now know that was not true and that Walensky herself knew it was not true.
If the vaccine stopped COVID dead in its tracks, as Fauci explained, then the decision to institute a vaccine mandate would merely be a controversial yet ultimately legitimate public health measure. The fact it did not do that but rather had primarily personal benefits completely removes the justification for mandates.
Those personal gains were financial. We’ve come to finds out that the CDC scientists, who are government employees, would get licensing fees from the patents. Fauci seems to have made out like a bandit in this regard, which is probably why he was always pushing for vaccines for Covid and AIDS instead of looking at ways to kill the viruses.
The Biden administration tried to impose a vaccine mandate on employers, thousands of people were fired from their jobs, and there was a time when unvaccinated people were not even allowed into restaurants in some of the country’s largest cities.
People who were fired are now suing and winning their cases. These mandates in some of these cities amounted to internal passports. The Democrat run cities and states went full on totalitarian, even arresting people who were walking along without masks with no one around but their STASI wannabes pretending to be law enforcement officers.
There must be a substantive reckoning within our public health institutions and government more generally in the aftermath of the pandemic. From vaccines to masks to schools to economic aid, it seems that each aspect of the pandemic was accompanied by its own set of lies and distortions. There is a reason trust in our institutions has taken such a hit in recent years.
I’m thinking prison myself and in the case of Anthony Fauci, who paid for the gain of function research, life in the electric chair. Switching over to a Story in The Blaze:
Walensky, who discounted warnings from an agency advisory panel about booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine and recommended them anyway, told a Senate panel on May 19, 2021, that vaccinated people who got infected “can’t give it to anyone else,” reported the Epoch Times.
So she lied under oath? Well we won’t see anything done about it under the Biden Regime. They’re to busy ginning up fake evidence on Trump supporters.
Biden said in October 2021, “We’re requiring active duty military to be vaccinated. We’re making sure healthcare workers are vaccinated, because if you seek care at a healthcare facility, you should have the certainty that the … people providing that care are protected from COVID and cannot spread it to you.”
That proved to be a disaster with thousands of active duty, highly trained personnel dismissed from the military. There is a move to get them back in with no loss of seniority, benefits and rank. How many will return is another question.
The Democratic president said in a Dec. 14 WHIO-TV interview that “this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” suggesting that by getting vaccinated, people wouldn’t spread the disease to anyone else.
The one thing no one at the CDC or any other agency would discuss or even consider was natural immunity. People who had already come down with the Beer Virus and recovered seemed to be immune, either in total or partially from the other variants. They had no need to get the vaccines and many balked at it. Most were flat out threatened with the loss of their jobs if they didn’t get “The Shot.”
It is unclear how much earlier the Biden administration knew that the COVID vaccine did not fully prevent transmission or infection.
Oh they knew, just like they knew where the damn virus came from in the first place.
There is one interesting thing about how Americans react to things like this once they learn they were lied to. The next time the government issues orders like this, they will be flat out ignored and any attempt to force compliance will be met with serious levels of “Drop Dead Nazi!”
Americans do not like being made fools of, especially when those doing the fooling know what they are pushing is a load of crap. They tend to react negatively when the bureaucrats try pushing the same thing again. Frankly, the only way this can be fixed is a wholesale employment slaughter at the CDC and other agencies. Firing a few hundred thousand bureaucrats will encourage the survivors to not play games with the American people.
