Microsoft admits to being a racist corporation, just not the way you think

Good day all. Microsoft makes the most popular operating system for businesses and home users, along with the most popular office platform. (Sorry Linux, you aren’t user friendly even after all this time) Microsoft has had it’s issues over the years with one case of a corrupt judge trying to break them up.

Microsoft also, for the longest time, had something they called the “Office Assistant” built into the Office platform. When Clippy was formally euthanized, there was much rejoicing in the IT world.

In fact, a eulogy was written by the Angry Systems Administrator on the main site. However, That site is now archived, but it really should be brought out for the world.

It is with great sadness, (Yeehaw!), that we announce the demise of Microsoft Clippy. (It’s about F***** Time! Break out the beer boys!)

Clippy had not been well for several years, and with the release of Office XP had to be coaxed out of his bed. (Ya mean you finally got the message after people kept throwing monitors at that idiot Gates don’t you?)

We know that Clippy and his helpful friends will be missed by our loyal users of Microsoft Office. (Sure. I’ll also miss having a proctologic exam twice a week too)

We ask that you bow your heads and give a moment of silence in memory of Clippy. (F*** That! I’m going to have a party! Yeehaw! *BLAM* *BLAM*)

Thank you from the Microsoft Marketing department. (Oh it’s you guys again! Ya’ll just stand right there now while I reprogram this here cruise missile. I’m sure the Iranians won’t miss it)

As you can see the Angry Systems Administrator isn’t overly broken up with regards to the demise of Clippy. 😉

Now another issue is starting to come out from deep in the bowels of Microsoft. They are actively bragging that they are paying whites less then non-whites for the same job. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:

Microsoft bragged that it pays its white employees less than non-white employees who are employed in similar roles in a diversity report touting the company’s “pay equity” agenda. The admission came from the tech giant’s 2023 Diversity and Inclusion Report, which outlines the company’s loyalty to the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda.

All racial and ethnic minority groups who are rewards eligible combined earn $1.007 total pay for every $1.000 earned by US rewards-eligible white employees with the same job title and level and considering tenure,” the Microsoft report, first reported on X, brags.

Well, it’s not often that a major corporation is nice enough to provide the evidence of their wrong doing so publicly. I can imagine all the ambulance chasers just salivating at the thought of the judgments against Microsoft.

It goes on to add that “US Black and African American employees earn $1.004 and Asian employees earn $1.012 for every $1.000 earned by U.S. rewards-eligible white employees with the same job title and level and considering tenure.”

This pay equity data represents total pay,” the report clarifies. “Our total pay analysis considers base, annual bonus, and stock awards at the time of annual rewards for rewards- eligible employees.”

Microsoft also boasted that it has successfully pushed far-left ideology on its employees, with one passage reading, “As a cornerstone of our growth mindset approach to D&I, we consider understanding how to be effective allies key to activating a culture of inclusion.” The report went on to add, “This year, 96.4% of employees reported some level of awareness of the concept of allyship.”

Now for the old due diligence. I am a shareholder and have about 80 shares of Microbrain Microsoft stock. Saying that, What the Hell? The Human Resources department and the pay and benefits people, and anyone at the “C Level” that signed off on this has just put the company into major legal jeopardy.

This is flat out discrimination on the bases of skin color and even the utterly corrupted DoJ won’t be able to ignore this. You will also see all the affected employees going into said HR department and letting fly. I suspect that there are Microsoft employees now talking with lawyers about this.

The company was previously hit with criticism after it capped the number of white and Asian students that universities could nominate for a highly paid research fellowship.

The Daily Wire story goes on to speak about other companies that have been pulling this DEI crap. Disney has all but wrecked themselves as a corporation over all the DEI garbage and has just been hit with a major lawsuit from Gina Carano. Ms. Carano was fired from Disney because she wouldn’t toe the Woke DEI line. She is being backed by Elon Musk, who Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, has managed to annoy.

Disney, Microsoft and all the other companies mentioned in the Daily Wire story are, eventually, going to get hit with massive lawsuits. From what I’ve heard, Ms. Carano’s case is so egregious that Disney might try to settle before the discovery process starts. With Elon Musk’s backing, and the fact that Ms. Carano probably doesn’t need to work if she doesn’t want to, settling is probably not in the cards and this will go to trial. I suspect that the discovery process alone is going to sink Disney’s current management.

If/when Disney gets hammered, and with this epically stupid move by Microsoft, look for corporations to reevaluate just how much Diversity, Equity and Inclusion they want. I suspect that after a few multi-billion dollar judgments, (Class action cases), and a few CEO’s and senior level management types being shown the door, DEI will go the way of the Dodo. Dr. Martin Luther King had the right idea. Judge a person by what they do, not by the color of their skin. Tho9se are words I live by.

I think Linux is perfectly user-friendly, but then I use it every day and administer Linux systems professionally. YMMV, etc.
