Good day all. It’s beginning to look like that all the Hamas Universities have finally figured out that they need to do something about these pro-terrorist, antisemitic Nazi wannabes they call students. They’ve started calling in the police and either suspended or expelled those that have been arrested.
This is a very slow start to something that should have been handled months ago. Far to many college and university administrators and staff are all in with the destruction of Israel, however, they’re finding out that their largest donors, most of Congress and a majority of the American people support Israel.
Then there is the problem that a number of these diversity hires are now being looked at through a microscope and many are being found to be plagiarists and academic frauds. In order to try and protect themselves, they’ve decided it’s time to throw the antisemitic students under the bus. Now the moonbats, morons and antisemites are figuring out that their actions might come back to haunt them in the real world and are looking for some sort of amnesty. Maryam Alwan figured the worst was over after New York City police in riot gear arrested her and other protesters on the Columbia University campus, loaded them onto buses and held them in custody for hours.
She figured incorrectly as she’s now finding out.
But the next evening, the college junior received an email from the university. Alwan and other students were being suspended after their arrests at the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment,” a tactic colleges across the country have deployed to calm growing campus protests against the Israel-Hamas war.
The students’ plight has become a central part of protests, with students and a growing number of faculty demanding their amnesty. At issue is whether universities and law enforcement will clear the charges and withhold other consequences, or whether the suspensions and legal records will follow students into their adult lives.
Well then, all I can say is, it sucks to be you. As to clearing the charges, my answer, and the answers from most of the adults in the United States can be summed up in two words. “Hell NO!” No amnesty, no dropping the charges. You were warned and now you will suffer the consequences of your actions. Welcome to the real world dummy.
Terms of the suspensions vary from campus to campus. At Columbia and its affiliated Barnard College for women, Alwan and dozens more were arrested April 18 and promptly barred from campus and classes, unable to attend in-person or virtually, and banned from dining halls.
One of those booted out from school was the daughter, (By her brother perhaps?), of Representative Ilhan Omar. (D-Hamas) She has been kicked out of school and was whining about having no place to go or food to eat. (You can call Mommy. She’s rich now, or you can always go and do porn. I bet with your name, you would get a great fee, more then most actresses in the adult entertainment field)
Questions about their academic futures remain. Will they be allowed to take final exams? What about financial aid? Graduation? Columbia says outcomes will be decided at disciplinary hearings, but Alwan says she has not been given a date.
“This feels very dystopian,” said Alwan, a comparative literature and society major.
Oh great! She’s majoring in being a Starbucks Barista. Anyone want to bet that she’s running up a huge debt she will never pay off and demand that the government, i.e. the taxpayers, pay it for her?
What started at Columbia has turned into a nationwide showdown between students and administrators over anti-war protests and the limits of free speech. In the past 10 days, hundreds of students have been arrested, suspended, put on probation and, in rare cases, expelled from colleges including Yale University, the University of Southern California, Vanderbilt University and the University of Minnesota.
I’m of the opinion that all of these Nazis and Hitler Youth should be expelled. They are violent, pro-terrorist, and are calling for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of Jews. (I seem to recall we had to deal with people like that back around 1939-1945)
Barnard, a women’s liberal arts college at Columbia, suspended more than 50 students who were arrested April 18 and evicted them from campus housing, according to interviews with students and reporting from the Columbia Spectator campus newspaper, which obtained internal campus documents.
Good.
On Friday, Barnard announced it had reached agreements restoring campus access to “nearly all” of them. A statement from the college did not specify the number but said all students who had their suspensions lifted have agreed to follow college rules and, in some cases, were put on probation.
On the night of the arrests, however, Barnard student Maryam Iqbal posted a screenshot on the social media platform X of a dean’s email telling her she could briefly return to her room with campus security before getting kicked out.
“You will have 15 minutes to gather what you might need,” the email read.
I followed the twitter(x) link and this person has limited who can see the original post. However the comments are viewable. You will see a lot of “Oh you poor baby, that is so unfair!” to “Sucks to be you. Welcome to the real world.” It looks like the unsympathetic views are outnumbering the entitled crybabies supporting her by about 60-40.
More than 100 Barnard and Columbia faculty staged a “Rally to Support Our Students” last week condemning the student arrests and demanding suspensions be lifted.
They need to be fired. There won’t be any loss to the school since they are way overstaffed with useless Communists who can’t make it in the real world. (This would be their chance to learn)
Talks with the student protesters are continuing, said Ben Chang, a Columbia spokesperson. “We have our demands; they have theirs,” he said.
This is where I would be their worst nightmare in these talks, if I were in charge of these schools. Here’s how it would go.
Antisemite: “We demand that you comply with this list of demands now!”
Me, the man in charge: “No. Clear out those tents and get back to class or else.”
Antisemite: “What? That isn’t how you negotiate!”
Me, the man in charge: “Ok, I’ll send in a specialist.”
For international students facing suspension, there is the added fear of losing their visas, said Radhika Sainath, an attorney with Palestine Legal, which helped a group of Columbia students file a federal civil rights complaint against the school Thursday. It accuses Columbia of not doing enough to address discrimination against Palestinian students.
“The level of punishment is not even just draconian, it feels like over-the-top callousness,” Sainath said.
The level arrogance of these progressives is mind numbing. These are, and I’m not going to be nice about it, terrorists who want to exterminate the Jews, not just in Israel, but globally. The very few who reject that idea aren’t the ones out there attacking Jewish students and basically making Hitler look good. They have no right to be in the United States, they are being granted a privilege. They are guests and are expected to behave as such. If they won’t, then they are going to be told to leave.
Across the country, college administrators have struggled to balance free speech and inclusivity. Some demonstrations have included hate speech, antisemitic threats or support for Hamas, the group that attacked Israel on Oct. 7, sparking a war in Gaza that has left more than 34,000 dead.
Time to do some corrections here. First, the 34K deaths. That was a number made up by the Gaza Health Ministry and are about as accurate as any of Biden’s comments on thing’s he’s done, or anything the Associated (With Terrorists), Press writes. Next, it isn’t “Some” of the demonstrations that have been antisemitic, it’s all of them. These “Demonstrators” have been outright denying the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th. They are flat out supporting terrorism.
Now it’s beginning to sink into their thick heads that there are going to be repercussions and they aren’t happy. For to long, these losers have been spoiled by their parents and indoctrinated by the schools. They literally can’t conceive that they might actually be held accountable for their actions. Now reality is intruding and they aren’t happy. Well, as the posters say, FAFO
