Good day all. Yesterday, (Tuesday June 25th), there were several primaries held around the country. One was in New York, and the voters of New York’s 16th district have forced the retirement of their representative, Jamaal “False Alarm” Bowman due to ill health. They were sick of him.
Bowman is, or now was, one of the members of Alexandria Occasional-Cortex’s “Squad.” Bowman proved to be a communist, racist and an antisemite. In other words, your normal modern Progressive Liberal Democrat. Bowman managed to con the voters into two terms, but his lies about what Hamas did on October 7th along with his blatant antisemitism and support for the terrorists finally pushed the voters to remove him. Here are some details from Newsmax:
George Latimer, a pro-Israel centrist, defeated Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York on Tuesday in a Democratic primary that highlighted the party’s deep divisions over the war in Gaza.
With the victory, Latimer has ousted one of the most liberal voices in Congress and one of its most outspoken critics of Israel. Bowman has accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians have died in military strikes.
Bowman was just shy of calling for reopening Auschwitz-Birkenau and rounding up the Jews. He was absolutely opposed to Israel not just defending itself but having the gall to move on Gaza and destroy Hamas. A large portion of the population in the 16th District is Jewish and many who aren’t were appalled at what happened October 7th. Bowman’s blatant support for Hamas finally tipped the scales.
Bowman had been seeking a third term, representing a district in New York City’s northern suburbs. His defeat is a blow to the party’s progressive wing and a potential cautionary tale for candidates trying to shape their messaging around the Israel-Hamas conflict.
I disagree. The Progressives, (Communist), wing of the Democrat Party will double down and demand that the United States invade Israel and hand the country to the Palestinians. This could, with luck, so wreck the Democrat party that it either collapses or breaks apart.
A Bowman loss disrupted what has generally been a stable primary season for congressional incumbents. Most current members of Congress have been able to repel challenges from within their party, though Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., is in a tight contest with a rival backed by Donald Trump in a race that is too close to call.
Currently, Good is losing, but since it is so close, it will have to go to a recount. In Texas, Brandon Herrera came within 400 votes of blowing out the RINO he was facing and is currently undergoing a recount. (Herrera doesn’t expect much change in the totals) Also, Lauren Boebert has won the primary in her new district.
Latimer will be the prohibitive favorite to win in the general election. The district, which includes parts of Westchester and a small piece of the Bronx, is a Democratic stronghold.
The district is loaded with Rich Liberals who will always vote stupid, I mean Democrat. There is a Republican, but the odds of that person winning are worse then my winning the lottery.
As for Bowman, besides being shown the door, he is also going to suffer financially. Besides all the graft he won’t be able to collect, he isn’t going to vest in that platinum coated diamond congressional retirement package. That requires three terms in office and he’s only managed two. So much for a lifetime pension on the taxpayers.
This election is shaping up to be a real cage match, from the top down. The Democrats appear to be on the back foot and are facing real opposition for the first time in years. Prior to this, the democrats could always count on the Republicans to “Lose gracefully.” With the ouster of Ronna McDaniel, the RNC is now hitting back and hard. RINO’s and TransRepublicans have either lost their primaries or been forced to “Retire.” Interesting times have arrived. To bad Jamaal Bowman will be sitting on the sidelines trying to figure out what his next job will be.
