It’s been over a week since the “Great Debacle” and Joe Biden is still making excuses for his crushing loss. First it was a cold, then it wasn’t enough sleep. Now he’s saying that it’s Trump’s fault.
Biden has been in free fall since the debate debacle. People and organizations have been making excuses for Biden, others want to just make him go away and get someone, anyone else to run. Biden, being senile, is also stubborn and has stated he’s staying and he will win again in 2020. Now Biden has come up with yet another excuse. It’s Trump’s fault for remaining silent. Here are the details from Newsmax:
In Joe Biden’s prime-time interview with ABC News, the president offered a new explanation for his widely panned debate performance last week, that of a verbally abusive opponent.
Adding to the growing list of excuses for Biden’s shaky and halting debate, the president said former President Donald Trump was loud and distracting when it was Biden’s turn to speak, despite Trump’s mic being turned off by the CNN moderators.
“I realized that, even when I was answering a question and they turned his mic off, he was still shouting, and I let it distract me. I’m not blaming it on that. But I realized that I just wasn’t in control,” Biden told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Friday evening.
Actually, no he wasn’t. The format, which was designed to help Biden actually appears to have benefited President Trump far better. Basically, President Trump remained silent and let Biden ram the ice berg, back up and hit it again.
The split-screen telecast does not support Biden’s claims of a disruptive Trump, which showed the former president engaging in expressions of mocking curiosity, but not the loud, boisterous outbursts Biden described.
Basically, President Trump very quickly understood just how far gone Bumbles Biden really is. I don’t know if President Trump knows Napoleon’s quote regarding enemies and mistakes, but he definitely knows the concept. President Trump simply stood back and let Biden shoot himself in the foot, over and over again.
The White House has spent the last week doing damage control, listing various excuses for the president’s debate performance. Over the past week, Biden has said he was jet lagged from a world tour despite being back in the United States for almost two weeks prior to the debate. A lingering cold was also cited as a reason for Biden’s often slow and often incoherent responses.
Everyone knows that Biden needs to go except Joe Biden and Jill “Call me Doctor Damn It!” Biden. If the Cabinet and Harris go the 25th Amendment route and declare Biden mentally incompetent, besides the fight that will cause between Jill “Call me Doctor Damn It!” Biden and Kackling Kamala Harris, will cause people to ask why now and not two years ago.
I seem to recall that we were going to have an interesting summer this year. I had no idea that we would be seeing a massive internecine battle inside the Democrat Party. They have failed in their plans to “Get Trump!” and have only made him stronger. The Democrats need to write off the presidency and concentrate on saving as many seats in the down ticket races they can. They won’t of course. This election is going to be a lot more entertaining then I had hoped.
