Good day all. Since the attempt on President Trump’s life, pretty much everyone has been asking one question. Why wasn’t there someone on the roof that the criminal fired from?
I’ve seen a number of reasons on why, some of them deep into tin foil hat territory. Some of the things I saw was confusion over who was supposed to monitor that building. Was it the local police or the Secret Service? We now have an answer from the Biden DEI hire running the United States Secret Service. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle said Monday that the shape of the roof former President Donald Trump’s would-be assassin sat on played a role in her agency not securing the building.
That is the biggest load of horse manure I’ve heard in a long time. The pictures of the roof the criminal was on show that the slope was not that great. The slope on the roof of the counter snipers was actually steeper. Cheesehead Cheatle the diversity hire is either utterly incompetent or a liar.
Cheatle has come under fire for her agency’s failure to prevent Thomas Matthew Crooks’s assassination attempt against Trump during a Pennsylvania rally last Saturday. During the event, Crooks gained access to a building approximately 400 feet from Trump’s podium.
Under fire? Should should have already been fired. Since the assassination attempt more and more information has been coming out on the stupefying levels of incompetence of the Secret Service. To begin with, this was not President Trump’s normal detail. They had been stood down for some much needed rest.
This should not have been an issue, (We can discuss the actual staffing levels another time), and they would have sent out the “B” team to cover for them. There was a problem with this. Jill “Call me Doctor Damn It!” Biden was also in Pennsylvania and she was assigned the agents who would have gone to President Trump. Apparently, what was left were people who weren’t full time protection agents and whoever they could scrape up locally.
The agents involved protecting President Trump, once the shots were fired, did everything they were supposed to do. The problem was that the female agents simply weren’t tall enough to fully block the line of site to President Trump. (He’s 6’ 3”) They did what they could and no one is bashing them…much. What everyone is bashing is why that roof was uncovered.
During Cheatle’s first interview since Saturday with ABC News on Monday evening, she claimed the shape of the rooftop prevented counter-snipers from stopping Crooks’s attack on Trump.
Cheesehead Cheatle knows one of two things. That she and the Secret Service have screwed up massively, in which case she needs to be summarily fired, or this gap was intentional and their patsy missed. I’m of the belief this was massive incompetence rather then conspiracy theory. If this was intentional, God help us.
After ABC anchor Pierre Thomas asked Cheatle if the roof should have been secured, the Secret Service director deflected the question.
“That building, in particular, has a sloped roof at its highest point,” Cheatle told Thomas. “And so there will be a safety factor that will be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so you know the decision was made to secure the building from the inside.”
Everyone has seen the pictures of that roof and knows she is lying through her teeth. The slope on that roof was barely enough to allow rain water to flow off it. Anything heavier like snow would sit their until it melted or was shoveled off by people who aren’t the Secret Service. The pitch on the roof the counter snipers were sitting on was steeper.
Cheatle has faced calls to resign after the massive security breach during last week’s Trump rally.
And her response boils down to “Hell No! I won’t go and you can’t make me!
During the interview, Cheatle admitted the security breach was unacceptable, saying, “The buck stops with me.” However, the embattled director has refused to step down, largely deflecting blame to local law enforcement the Secret Service says was responsible for securing the building Crooks used to open fire on Trump.
And there is another reason she needs to be fired. The Secret Service has absolute responsibility for the security of presidents, former presidents and candidates for president, not local police. That she is playing the bureaucratic game of “It’s not our job” isn’t going to work. Right now I’m at the “Fire her fat ass and black list from any future government job!” stage. If things start coming out that are really bad, then a nice long stay in Club Fed may be warranted for this Biden DEI hire.
