United Nations wants immunity for UNRWA terrorists

Good day all. One of the major scandals to come out from the October 7th attack by Hamas into Israel was the pictures and videos of United Nations workers attached to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency), who took part in the attack.

Almost as soon as it was discovered that workers with the UNRWA were actively involved with the attack, (They were nice enough to post videos of themselves for the IDF and Mossad to use to hunt them down), the UN promptly circled the wagons and denied everything and blamed Israel. This failed of course, so now the UN wants immunity for the terrorists who were involved. Here are the details from Newsmax:

The United Nations is seeking immunity for UNRWA workers who took part in the Hamas-led invasion and massacre of 1,200 Israelis and the kidnapping of 251 people from southern Israeli border communities on Oct. 7.

Israel’s Channel 12 News reported on Sunday, September 22nd, that the United Nations filed an official document in a U.S. court, with the backing from the United States Department of Justice, that would grant employees of the U.N. agency (U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) immunity in the Gaza Strip.

“Since the U.N. has not waived immunity in this instance, its subsidiary, UNRWA, continues to enjoy absolute immunity from prosecution, and the lawsuit should be dismissed,” the U.N. stated.

Excuse me? The United States Department of Justice is OK with this crap? I knew that the Garland DoJ was pretty much done as a “Justice” department, I didn’t know that Merrick Garland is actively aiding a terrorist organization. (Hamas, the UN, what’s the difference?)

The U.S. Department of Justice expressed its support for the measure.

“The plaintiff’s complaint does not present a legal basis for claiming that the United Nations waived its immunity. Therefore, because the U.N. has not waived immunity in this case, its subsidiary, UNRWA, retains full immunity, and the lawsuit against UNRWA should be dismissed due to lack of subject matter jurisdiction.”

Channel 12 reported that this development constitutes a legal hurdle for Israeli victims of the Oct. 7 atrocities and their families, who now must present a convincing case for revoking the immunity of UNRWA workers who were complicit in the murder, rape, torture, and abduction of Israelis during the terror attack.

That the Biden-Harris-Garland DoJ is backing this dismissal should be grounds to include them in the suit. (Granted, you can’t sue a sitting president or the VP, but I think Open Season on Garland may be warranted. Breaking in in a court room would be real justice) There is also pretty solid evidence that UNRWA was actively involved in the attack and continued to be involved afterwards.

Ditza Heiman, a former Israeli hostage who was released after 49 days in captivity, said she was held hostage inside of an official UNRWA facility.

“The day after Oct. 7, two masked terrorists took me away. As we approached the destination, I noticed several concrete buildings bearing the UNRWA logo, and that’s where I stayed for seven weeks,” Heiman said.

During her captivity, Heiman also noted the UNRWA logo on snack packages, notebooks, and other items.

The evidence is overwhelming that the UNRWA was actively involved in the attack, despite the denials of it’s head and the United Nations. For a while, funding was cut off, but then Israel start obliterating Hamas, and the Biden-Harris maladministration, showing their antisemitic colors, started writing checks to them again.

In January, the U.S., and several other major donor nations, temporarily suspended its financial aid to UNRWA after Israeli officials presented incriminating evidence showing cooperation between Hamas terrorists and UNRWA officials.

“Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution,” said UNRWA head Philippe Lazzarini, who was facing significant international pressure at the time.

The Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, provided the names of 12 UNRWA workers who were involved in the attack and he also reported that Israel has information on another 30 members of the UNRWA. Of course, the UN promptlyissued a report whitewashing everything regarding the active aiding and abetting of the terror attack by Hamas.

The report also claimed that Israel had not presented any credible evidence that UNRWA workers were involved in the Oct. 7 atrocities. After the report was published, most donor nations eventually resumed their financial aid to UNRWA.

“I have not been presented with any evidence supporting Israel’s claims, and this is not the first time,” Lazzarini reportedly stated.

I looked up this horses ass Lazzarini. He’s Swiss and as expected, your standard Eurotrash elitist. He will ignore hard evidence if it goes against his beliefs in his own superiority. Perhaps Israel should send him a new pager as a gift? In any case, Israel pretty much considers the UNRWA an active enemy of Israel.

However, the Israeli Foreign Ministry noted that it was becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between Hamas operatives and UNRWA staff.

“Hamas has infiltrated UNRWA so deeply that it is no longer possible to determine where UNRWA ends and where Hamas begins. More than 2,135 UNRWA workers are members of either Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), while one-fifth of UNRWA school administrators are Hamas members.”

Personally, I think it’s time for Israel to start dealing with their declared enemies in the United Nations in the only way those worthies will ever understand. It’s not like Israel is ever going to get any real assistance from the United Nations, and it looks like they would love to reverse the one time they did anything in favor of Israel. That was the 1947 vote to partition the region in to two areas. One for the Israelis and one for the terrorists Palestinians.

It may be time for Israel to just walk away from the United Nations and flat out state that they see the UNRWA as an active enemy of the State of Israel and just wipe them out. At this point, Israel has nothing to lose. If things go as we all hope in November, help will arrive for Israel. I also think it’s time to pull the United States out, boot the UN out of the United States and end all funding to them. They are an active threat not only to Israel, but to the United States as well. As for the DoJ? That mess needs a full gut and replace.
