Could Biden pardon General Milley?

Good day all. Since Dementia Joe Biden broke his word, again, and pardoned his son and chief bagman, Hunter, “Hoovernose” Biden, people have been wondering who else Joe Biden might pardon.

A lot of people, surprisingly, on the Left, are furious that Biden pardoned Hoovernose. I suspect it wasn’t the pardon so much as “He Who Fondles Preteen Girls” lying about it and then pulling the rug out from under the democrats. (Most on the right weren’t surprised about the pardon) Since then, some of the Democrats have been calling on Biden to pardon anyone that crossed President Trump.

Now people are wondering if Dementia Joe might just pardon General Mark Milley (Ret.) Here are the details from the Washington ComPost:

President Joe Biden and his top staffers are discussing whether to grant preemptive pardons to figures who might face the hostility of the incoming Trump administration, concerned that President-elect Donald Trump and others in his circle have threatened to go after their political adversaries.

Among those being weighed for potential pardons are Anthony S. Fauci, who helped coordinate the nation’s covid-19 response; retired Gen. Mark A. Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who has called Trump a “fascist”; Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-California), who led the first impeachment effort against Trump; and former congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming), an outspoken GOP critic of Trump.

The problem with issuing these pardons is that it would confirm in many people’s minds, especially the “Undecided” that these people actually did commit criminal acts and that maybe they should go to jail.

The effort is being led by White House chief of staff Jeff Zients and White House counsel Ed Siskel, the people said, suggesting that the issue is being treated seriously at the highest levels of the administration.

I wonder if these two are also on the list for pardons?

Biden’s senior staffers have been increasingly alarmed by Trump’s picks for key law enforcement positions, such as Kash Patel, Trump’s choice for FBI director, who has urged retribution against Trump’s adversaries and critics.

There is a difference between private citizen Patel and FBI Director Patel. If/When Kash Patel is confirmed, he will be busy cleaning out the rot in the FBI. He may also look into the actions and activities of a number of people who targeted President Trump and his supporters. If there is nothing there, then the DoJ won’t do anything.

For instance, Adam Schiffhead, who has flat out lied about President Trump, may be protected by congressional immunity. Anything he said or did outside of Congress, or if he actually broke the law, will be actionable. Mostly, it would be in civil court not criminal.

Now in the case of General Milley, there are stories that he refused orders from the President and may have told the People’s Republic of China that he would warn them if President Trump “Tried anything.” If this is accurate, then he could be charged with mutiny just to start with. Here are a few details from the American Military News:

The New York Post reported that Milley faced backlash during Biden’s first year in the White House after a report was published that revealed Milley had engaged in secret phone calls with a top Chinese official prior to the 2020 presidential election between Trump and Biden and after the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

During a congressional hearing in September of 2021, Milley admitted that he called Chinese General Li Zuocheng and assured him that he would personally warn the U.S. adversary if the United States decided to attack China. The former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed that he called the Chinese general because U.S. intelligence indicated that China was concerned about a potential U.S. strike under the Trump administration.

Congratulations! I’m not 100% certain, but that comes damn close to Treason as defined by the Constitution. It definitely is Sedition and Mutiny. Now Milley wouldn’t be tried in a civilian court. (At least I don’t believe so) As a retired flag officer, he subject to recall to active duty. If it is found that Milley broke the Law, both civilian and, more importantly, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, (UCMJ), President Trump could recall him and he could face a court martial.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Milley as “a Woke train wreck” and claimed that his actions were “so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH.” At the time, Trump added, “A war between China and the United States could have been the result of this treasonous act.”

President Trump isn’t wrong here. The alleged crimes would have resulted in the death penalty. These days, life without parole. Milley was also one of the generals that was responsible for the debacle known as the Biden Bug Out. Milley knew that what Biden and the Democrats were planning would be a disaster and yet he did nothing. At the very least, if he were an honorable man, he could have resigned and left the service in protest. He didn’t.

In addition to Milley’s secret phone calls with China, Milley also described Trump as “fascist to the core” and labeled him “the most dangerous person to this country” in a book recently released by Bob Woodward, an associate editor for The Washington Post.

First, I wouldn’t trust anything Bob Woodward wrote, however, he did use Milley as a named source, so I have to assume he has recording and notes. Second, there are regulations in the UCMJ regarding Milley’s remarks. If I recall correctly, he was still in uniform when he spoke to Woodward. I’ll leave the exact rules and regulations that he probably violated to those who know the UCMJ.

Of all the people that went after President Trump, General Mark Milley is probably the one who may have actually broken a number of laws. (Liz Cheney and the buffoons on the J6 Committee may run a close second) If Biden does issue him a pardon, and Milley accepts it, it will vindicate what people might be saying quietly. It will also give President Trump the political ammunition he will need to clean out the officer corps of the United States Military.

We need all these uniformed politicians dismissed and replaced with actual Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors who understand what their duty is. That duty is to the Constitution and the Civilian chain of command and to defend this country and the Constitution. Mark Milley and to many others seem to have forgotten that. We shall see what happens now.
