Good day all. Prior to the election, Washington Compost owner, Jeff Bezos made the decision to not endorse Kackling Kamala Harris for President. He’s also said he wants to bring in more conservative people. This set off all the Progressive Liberal Propagandists for the Democrat Party embedded at the ComPost.
A few of the whining crybabies quit in a huff. Others raged that Bezos was moving into President Trump’s orbit. Now these useless Marxists, Socialists and Communists have come up with what they think is an absolutely brilliant idea. They want to buy the Washington ComPost from Jeff Bezos. Here are the details from the New York Post:
Tech reporter Kara Swisher is working toward assembling a group of investors to purchase The Washington Post from billionaire Jeff Bezos.
“The Post can do better… it’s so maddening to see what’s happening. … Why not me? Why not any of us?” Swisher told Axios in a report on Friday.
Do you really want an answer to that? Never Fear, you will get that answer. It just won’t be the one you’re expecting.
The Washington Post has reportedly suffered an exodus of high-profile talent, is losing money, has struggled to fill key positions and has seen employee morale plummet in recent years. The paper also irked readers when it announced this year that it would not endorse a candidate in the 2024 presidential election. The decision, which angered multiple staffers at the paper and prompted some editorial staff members and staffers to resign, was favored by Bezos.
This is the problem with those spoiled leftist jerks. They think they are the ones who are running the ComPost and that all Jeff Bezos is there for is to pour money down that sinkhole that the paper actually is. I’m sure in their minds that taking over the paper will solve all their problems. The problem is, where are they going to get the money? Perhaps Elon Musk?
Swisher preemptively rejected pro-Trump billionaire Elon Musk’s participation in the investor consortium in comments to Axios.
“Hopefully not Elon,” Swisher said, “though he seems pretty busy these days being President (Not) Elect.”
Gee, you seem a bit miffed that Elon Musk took away one of your socialist echo chambers, and is actually working with President Trump to undo all the damage you and your ilk have done over the last four+ years.
“Elon Musk, the guy who really runs things. He’s not just Trump’s co-president. I think that’s way too low a title,” MSNBC’s Chris Hayes said during his Wednesday monologue. “He’s the head dude in charge and House Republicans certainly know who they are taking their marching orders from.”
Oh yes, MSNBC. Is anyone other then reviewers and other journalist watching them these days? The last I heard, they were down to about 30,000 viewers. What Hayes is doing is standard Liberal Democrat Projection. The MSM is finally admitting they covered up Biden’s mental decay and now people are asking the question, “Who was actually running things?”
Since that is how Leftards think, they believe that President Trump is being controlled by Elon Musk and others. They still don’t understand him and they never will.
While Musk has yet to respond directly to Swisher’s comments, he entered the media landscape in full force by purchasing Twitter in 2022. Musk has since changed the company’s name to X, aiming to create an “everything app.”
Elon Musk has been a bit busy of course. He and Vivek Ramaswamy were tied up last week destroying that load of manure that the House called a continuing resolution and getting something in place that actually was a continuing resolution and not another scam bill designed to enrich progressives.
Axios CEO Jim VandHei responded to Swisher’s mention of Musk on X, saying: “She expects lots of competition IF Bezos budges on selling. “Hopefully not Elon,” she said. Doubt [Musk] wants Post…”
Well, there is that little issue. Does Jeff Bezos actually want to sell the Washington ComPost? If he did, he would be losing a lot of money. The paper is not worth what Swisher may think it is. Besides, if Musk did actually pull some loose change from his sofa and did buy the ComPost, he would end up having to replace most of the staff.
This is what Kara Swisher isn’t considering, among so many other things. Musk wants to make money. The Washington ComPost is nothing more then a money pit. Even Jeff Bezos is tired of setting his money on fire and this is why he is looking to make some changes with the paper.
Now assuming that the stars align and Swisher gets the ComPost. How long will it be before the paper gets slammed with a number of libel and defamation suits? Has she forgotten what happened with Nick Sandmann? In the United States the truth is an absolute defense in libel suits. That has been something seriously lacking in a number of Washington Compost stories.
The problem for the ComPost and the rest of the MSM is that they haven’t told the truth in years. Now the owners of these organizations have decided enough is enough and they are now taking control of their property, and these spoiled little children don’t like it. So sad, to bad.
