Good day all. Well, not that good of a day. When I woke up and logged into my system, I found an email from Linktree telling me my account had been terminated for hate speech. The offending URL? It was my post on New Years Day regarding the Islamic terrorist attack in New Orleans.
To say I was surprised would be an understatement. Of course I appealed the decision. The response took all of 10 seconds and was, of course, denied. The account is dead. My first thought was to call them and politely scream at them, but then I discovered something I hadn’t noticed before. They are based in Australia.
That explains everything and why reaching out to them directly, and talking to a real person would be an expensive waste of time. Why you may ask? Because Australia, much like all of the Eurotrash countries, is just one step short of becoming an Islamic caliphate. (In Australia’s case, it may be a race to see who takes over first. The caliphate or the People’s Republic of China)
They have, nicely, put their contact information on their main page. Perhaps, if you are in Australia somewhere near Collingwood, you might reach out and politely and lawfully ask them WTF? Now if they were in the United States, I would have far more options in dealing with them.
Some of those options would have been calling them directly of course, but also reaching out to law enforcement such as the Louisiana State Police and, after January 20th, say around 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time, the FBI and suggest they reach out to their CEO and ask them why they are censoring information on what appears to be an Islamic Terrorist attack?
But, this is in Australia, and they will simply hang up on anything from the Untied States Government. I would call for a flat out boycott, but I will be the first to say that my influence is less than nothing. Besides, it wasn’t like I was getting any views from that account anyway.
I set it up more as a curiosity then as a serious Socialist media connection. I only noticed it when I saw other people I follow using it on other sites. My reactions was “Ok, let’s see if this thing is worth my time.” Obviously, it wasn’t. What angers me is how they were so quick to censor a blatantly obvious Islamic terrorist attack in the United States.
This is just another reason the United States should just tell the rest of the world, “F**k You and the horse you rode in on!” We will put ourselves first. If you want to be our friends then you don’t screw over American citizens. If you expect the United States to bail you out when you screw up, don’t hold your breath. Come January 20th, there is going to be a new sheriff in town and he and his deputies aren’t going to be playing around.
