Good day all. Now that the investigation into the Obama regime’s attempt to overthrow the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, is being organized, a few spineless squishes pretending to be Republicans are now demanding a Special Prosecutor.
It’s been only a couple of weeks since the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, declassified and released information showing that the Obama Regime literally faked intelligence reports to get then Candidate Donald Trump and later overthrow President Donald Trump.
Now a formal investigation team is being put together at the Department of Justice to go over all the documents and determine what, if any, crimes were committed. This will take some time of course, since the Republicans want to make the charges stick, unlike the Democrats. However, there are a couple of RINO’s and TransRepublicans who are trying to stay relevant demanding the appointment of a special prosecutor. Here are the details from Townhall:
Republican senators are calling on the Justice Department to name a special counsel to investigate the latest Russiagate allegations against former President Obama and his staff.
My question would be why? You appoint a special prosecutor when there is the potential for a conflict of interest between the justice system and the administration. Since there is no such conflict, (The investigators are looking at the Obama Administration, not the Trump administration), appointing a special prosecutor is a waste of time and resources. So who are these Republicans making the demand?
GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas want an independent investigation “for the good of the country” to determine whether Obama or his top officials “manipulated the U.S. national security apparatus for a political outcome.”
“As we have supported in the past, appointing an independent special counsel would do the country a tremendous service in this case,” the Republicans said in a statement.
No you moron, it wouldn’t.
“With every piece of information that gets released, it becomes more evident that the entire Russia collusion hoax was created by the Obama Administration to subvert the will of the American people. Democrats and the liberal media have been out to get President Trump since 2016. There must be an immediate investigation of what we believe to be an unprecedented and clear abuse of power by a U.S. presidential administration.”
Perhaps if Lindsey Graham would pull his empty head out of his ass and look around, he would see that the DoJ is already putting together an investigative team. What I think is going on here is that both Graham and Cornyn are growing desperate regarding their political futures. John Cornyn is facing several challengers in his primary with Ken Paxton looking to be the overwhelming favorite. Cornyn is now seen as just another Deep State RINO who Texans no longer trust.
As for Lindsey Graham? His days may well be numbered in South Carolina. He may as well be renamed “Senator Weather Vane” for the way he changes his positions. He’s also very big on sending American troops into wars that we have no interest in at all. (Recently, I think he was calling for the invasion of Iran) I haven’t looked lately at what his poll numbers are among Republicans in South Carolina, but I suspect they are rivaling those of a Democrat.
As for the appointment of a special counsel? Besides doing this in the case of a conflict of interest, another reason would be to make sure nothing was actually done. Take a look at the list of special counsels for the last eight years and show me any prosecutions of major individuals.
Now I’m beginning to wonder if these two might be named in the documents somewhere and not as people being casually mentioned. We know that John McCain was hip deep in the conspiracy and personally delivered the Steele dossier to the DoJ. (He hated President Trump and had no problem screwing over America for his own personal gain) Perhaps these two might also have been involved?
In any case, this demand for a special counsel is going nowhere fast. The Democrats don’t want it since their goal is to protect Obama and his minions and to Get Trump! The Republicans will see it for what it is. A distraction by a couple of RINO’s who can be ignored. Personally, I think that any primary challengers to these two should use this against them. Ask them what they’re trying to hide. In the meantime, the real investigation is getting underway.
