Good day all. Mayoral candidate for New York City, Zohran Mamdani is running as a Democrat, but he’s a flat out Communist. He’s also probably going to win and destroy New York City.
One of his “Brilliant” ideas is to open taxpayer funded and city owned grocery stores, and then sell products at or below costs. Basically your standard Communist idea which always fails miserably. However, Mamdani, being your typical commie is using the usual excuse of failed communist ideas by saying that the “Right People” weren’t running things.
I’m sure that will be the excuse he uses when someone brings up the dismal failure of the Kansas City Sun Fresh Market. This was a city owned and operated grocery store that successfully replicated the empty shelves and abject failure of state run stores in the Soviet Union. Here are the details of their demise from Fox Business News:
As New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani promotes the idea of city-run grocery stores, one city-owned market in Missouri closed its doors on Tuesday after years of struggling and millions of taxpayer dollars.
Local news outlets reported the doors to the Kansas City Sun Fresh market were locked that morning with a note saying the store was “unable to serve” the community.
“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we are no longer, at this time, able to serve the residents of this important community,” the note read, according to KSHB in Kansas City. “It has always been our dream and passion to provide quality products and services in a safe, family environment. At this time, unfortunately, we are unable to do that.”
I don’t know why they thought that the circumstances were unforeseen. Anyone who has paid any attention to history, they would have known that government run anything is incredibly inefficient and wasteful. But that is one thing the Progressive Liberal Socialists, Communist Democrats are well known for. Not learning from history and so repeating it over and over again.
Despite its efforts, Sun Fresh has been plagued with empty shelves and crime, leading employees to reportedly carry tasers. Last year, the Kansas City Council approved spending $750,000 in emergency city funding in an attempt to keep the store open.
And I think that every single member of the City Council that voted to provide those funds should be forced to repay them to the city treasury out of their own pockets.
Sun Fresh came into the spotlight over the last few months after Mamdani began pushing his campaign for similar city-owned grocery stores in New York City.
In a TikTok video, Mamdani said that his city-run grocery stores will “operate without a profit motive,” instead of focusing on “price gouging” as he alleged some private stores do. He claimed that without having to pay rent or property taxes, these city-run stores would buy and sell at wholesale prices, centralize warehousing and distribution and be able to offer New York residents lower prices than privately-owned stores in the city.
This commie jackass has absolutely no idea how to run anything other than his mouth. He’s a spoiled Trust Fund brat who has never had to work a day in his life. In other words, he will be perfect as the Mayor of New York City. He will drive the city into complete bankruptcy in no time at all.
Already business and people are planning their “Escape from New York” if this blockhead manages to win the election and starts implementing his really stupid, tried and failed ideas. The New York Stock Exchange might even pack up and move to a friendlier state, such as Texas.
All the people that Mamdani intends to tax into oblivion to pay for his communist schemes are already making preparations to leave New York City and the State as well. Mamdani won’t run out of other people’s money, he won’t be able to get his hands on it in the first place. I fully expect the idiots of NYC to vote for that commie. I also expect that NYC will collapse completely and rather quickly. That or Mamdani will somehow end up being removed from office. As for the rest of the country? We’re just going to watch and laugh.
