Good day all. This is a breaking story. Charlie Kirk, the Co-founder and CEO of Turning Point USA was shot and killed at an event in Utah.
This is still an ongoing story. Apparently, a suspect was taken into custody but apparently was released and the search for the murderer continues. Here are the details so far from Newsmax:
Charlie Kirk, the co-founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, the largest and most influential conservative youth organization in the U.S., was shot dead Wednesday during an event in Utah.
Bystanders saw Kirk, 31, get shot near his neck during a Q&A with students at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. A video captured at the event showed Kirk bleeding heavily from an apparent gunshot wound near his neck.
There is no suspect in custody, a law enforcement source told CNN, despite the school saying earlier police did have someone in custody. University spokesperson Scott Trotter also said in a statement that the suspect is not in custody.
While I was working on this, I heard a report that the shot was from a building 200 yards away. This indicates it was a rifle, not a pistol. This probably means the criminal has made good, for now anyway, his or her escape. It also means that this wasn’t a “Crime of opportunity,” but a planned murder. I believe that Utah has the death penalty for 1st degree murder too.
Cellphone video clips of the incident circulating on social media showed Kirk addressing a large outdoor crowd when a loud crack that sounded like a gunshot rang out. One video appeared to show Kirk’s head jerking back as he delivered remarks while sitting under a tent with the slogan “The American Comeback” printed on it. Kirk can be seen briefly moving his hand to his neck as he falls off his chair.
This sounds like the criminal was going for a head shot. This may mean the criminal may not be that experienced, although it’s looking like he or she did some careful planning. A trained sniper will generally not go for a head shot. They are trained to aim for the torso. The reason is simple. The head is a very small target and is generally in motion. This is why President Trump is alive and breathing the political snot out of the Democrats. Considering that Mr. Kirk was hit in the neck, this shot almost missed as well. (Sadly, it didn’t)
FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X that federal law enforcement is monitoring the incident.
“We are closely monitoring reports of the tragic shooting involving Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” he wrote. “Our thoughts are with Charlie, his loved ones, and everyone affected. Agents will be on the scene quickly and the FBI stands in full support of the ongoing response and investigation.”
I suspect that the criminal had an escape plan and is long gone. Hopefully there is some evidence for the police and FBI to use. If this loser crossed state lines, then you can bet that the FBI will be very much involved. Now there have been reactions.
As expected, the Leftards in the media and in congress are once again showing their contempt for anyone who doesn’t toe the Leftard line. In the House, Representative Lauren Boebert, when news came in on the shooting, asked for a moment of prayer. As usual, the Leftards had to be retarded leftists.

On the other side of the fence, the reaction is more concerning. Many people you would think of as being very level headed are wondering if the time has come to “Flip the switch” on the Leftist Democrats. This should scare the living crap out of anyone who understands the reference.
To refresh your memories, the Left considers the use of violence to be analog, something that you can turn up and down like a dial. You would have one setting for being loud and obnoxious, then another where they start shoving people they oppose. Then you have vandalism, then up to riots and “Fiery yet mostly peaceful protests.” Occasionally you will have a few idiots go to far and either get shot themselves or beat someone to death. Then, once the Leftards goals have been met, they turn the dial back down.
That is not how the Right sees violence. They see it as a binary answer. It’s either off or it’s on. In the off position, they try to avoid violence and only resort to it in self defense. When they see the Leftards acting up, they want the proper legal tools used to stop them. That is the switch in the OFF position. However, the On position has only one setting. That setting is “Fuck it! Kill them all!”
Charlie Kirk left behind a wife and two little girls. Our hearts go out to them in this time of horrible tragedy. Charlie Kirk was someone who wanted to debate Leftards, not kick them in the balls. He would argue his positions and as I understand it, verbally crush Leftard idiots who’s only arguments were “You’re a Nazi! Your a Racist!” This fact, that Kirk was smarter then the Left is why they decided to murder him. I hope that the Police and FBI find and arrest this criminal and soon. That might keep the switch in the Off position.
