Good day all. Portland Oregon has become ground zero, so to speak, between the Trump administration and the Forces of Darkness, aka Antifa and the city government. For nearly four months, Antifa has been assaulting Federal Agents and trying to storm the federal building. When federal agents call 911 to get local assistance, the calls are ignored.
Not only are calls by federal agents being ignored, police appear to be actively protecting Antifa. There are a lot of parts to this. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
Federal immigration officials say their Portland, Oregon, facility has come under nightly attack, with little help from local police because of political directives from city leaders.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Bill Melugin, Cammila Wamsley, director of Portland’s ICE office, said the facility has faced violence for more than 100 consecutive nights, with Portland police largely absent under guidance from the mayor and city council.
“I just, I can’t figure out what’s happening at the FDA. I’m totally baffled by it,” Wamsley said, describing her frustration at seeing federal staff attacked outside the building while officers inside lack jurisdiction to intervene. “It’s frustrating for us to watch people be attacked on the street and know that we don’t have the authority to be able to really step in unless there’s some nexus to federal law.”
And that is part of the problem. The city government appears to be actively aiding and abetting Antifa in their crimes. Anyone who isn’t supporting Antifa, is just covering what is happening or just happens to be driving by are being attacked and the police won’t intervene. When they do, it’s to arrest everyone but Antifa. Here are some of those details from a different Fox News article:
Conservative journalist Nick Sortor was captured on video being taken into custody in Portland, Oregon, during another night of chaotic protests outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility.

The arrest came after the Portland Police Bureau said it was “monitoring the protest during the evening and observed some protest participants engaging in fights.” Sortor was charged with disorderly conduct in the second degree.
What is actually happening is that the Antifa thugs are attacking people and some of them fight back in self defense. These are the people being arrested. Reporter Andy Ngo has been almost killed by Antifa thugs and the police did nothing.
“This was as big of a surprise to me as it was to everybody else. All of a sudden, you know, I’m being jumped by Antifa thugs,” Sortor told Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin following his release. “I get back up, I stumble away and go back toward cops where I think, you know, at least, all right, well, maybe that’ll be a safer place for me to go… never suspected that I was going to be the target of the arrest, that they were coming in to me.”
“And when they put me into handcuffs, the first thing that went to my mind wasn’t, ‘Oh, you’re being arrested.’ It’s, ‘Oh, they’re trying to help you and get you out of here and make it look like they’re doing something.’ Because they weren’t telling me what they were doing. They weren’t telling me I was under arrest. They weren’t telling me what I was being charged with. And it took over an hour for me to find out what I was charged with,” Sortor claimed.
There are cameras all over that area, and I have little doubt that they will show a number of criminal acts, none initiated by Sortor and probably showing civil rights violations by the police. Fox News reached out to the Portland police for a comment and surprising no one, none was forthcoming.
Melugin also said in a post on X that he had spoken to Sortor on the phone after he was released from custody. Melugin said Sortor told him that “he was getting video of protesters getting maced by federal agents, which was embarrassing video for them as they were ‘crying’ etc.”
“He says they then swarmed/surrounded him, pushed him down into a flower bed, and someone threw a punch,” Melugin wrote. “Nick says he swung back and missed, then disengaged and walked over to a group of Portland PD. He says he was then shocked to be arrested by them, and he sat in the back of a police cruiser while officers figured out what to charge him with.”
Obviously, he will be charged with not letting the communist thugs beat him to a pulp and them murder him. Going back to the first Fox News story:
Wamsley said the Portland Police Department has been slow to respond — and sometimes doesn’t respond at all — because of city policy. She explained that assaults have occurred outside and across the street from the building, but police have either taken too long to arrive or not shown up at all.
“That is not the stance they would take six blocks from here, but it is the stance they take with us because of guidance from the mayor and city council,” Wamsley said.
It’s actions like these that have caused President Trump to send in the military to protect the federal facilities, allowing the actual law enforcement agents to deal with the Antifa terrorists. However, the way things are going, I have a feeling it’s only a matter of time before a federal agent, or even one of the soldiers, has to use lethal force to defend themselves.
When, not if this happens, you can expect the Democrats to go ballistic. The Democrat Party, as policy, is actively working to protect criminals, both illegal aliens and home grown. I don’t think it is beyond the realm of possibility that the Trump administration decides they have no choice and sends in regular forces, declares martial law in Portland and removes the entire city government from their positions.

That will be the worst case scenario of course, and will mean that ACW II has kicked off, despite the best efforts of those on the Center/Right to avoid it. I hope that we are a long way from there, and that it never happens. However, it looks like some sort of federal action will need to be taken in Portland to protect people from Antifa, and if the city government is refusing to do so, then they need to have the full force of the law dropped on the.
I think that the arrest of Mr. Sortor might be the incident needed for the DoJ to come in and take action. Here was someone who was not violating any laws and was simply recording the events. He was attacked and when the police did nothing, he defended himself with the minimum force he needed to get away. When he went to the police for help, they arrested him instead. I’ll let civil rights lawyers, real ones, not the Leftard losers working to destroy the country using the courts advise us on the actual laws.
And no sooner then I wrote that, out comes the news that the DoJ is opening an investigation of the Portland Police. Here are those details from Newsmax:
The Department of Justice is launching a probe of the Portland Police Bureau following conservative influencer and citizen journalist Nick Sorter‘s arrest while covering an overnight protest in the city.
“Just last night, we saw an extremely troubling incident where conservative journalist Nick Sorter was captured on video being taken into custody by the Portland police after he was ambushed by antifa and was defending himself from these assaults,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a media briefing on Friday.
Leavitt said the arrest pointed out one of the problems with local law enforcement in Portland. “But instead of arresting these violent mob members night after night after night who are ravaging this community, the police arrested a journalist who was there trying to document the chaos.”
As I mentioned before, it’s looking like the local police have been ordered, probably on pain of losing their jobs, to not interfere with the actions of Antifa no matter what. It’s also looking like they’ve also been told to arrest anyone who might defend themselves from Antifa attacks. This is not what police and the judicial system are supposed to do.
Sorter, who has about 1 million followers on X, posted about the incident, saying, “Asst AG Harmeet Dhillon has ALREADY sent a letter to the City of Portland, demanding documents related to Portland PD’s targeted arrest of me.”
Sorter said Attorney General Pam Bondi “personally called me to deliver this news, and I’m incredibly grateful to her for doing so.”
This looks like a case where Bondi knew enough to just get out of the way after putting the right person on the job. Perhaps she’s actually learning on the job?
He said it appeared the Trump administration had had its fill of ongoing protests in Portland. “The Trump DOJ WILL NOT allow Portland Police to continue to do the bidding of Antifa.”

I have a suspicion that it won’t be Chicago where things blow up, but Portland. When I say blow up, I mean that literally. I am worried that Antifa might do something, such as set off a bomb or open fire on federal agents or the military personnel on site. If that happens, and the city government continues protecting Antifa, it could be all that is needed for Administration to declare an insurrection and the city in rebellion.
If that happens, you will see federal troops coming in along with Federal agents and flat out taking over the entire city. Police officers will either be federalized or fired depending on what is learned. The elected and appointed officials will be removed from office and in some cases, arrested.
Sorter is known for his citizen journalism, covering events such as the Maui wildfires and the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment. He has described Portland as a “hell hole” and advocated for more federal enforcement intervention.
Considering this and something that happened in Chicago, I think we are just about to see “bad things” start happening. The Democrats are going all in on what looks like outright rebellion and the opening stages of a civil war. I think the next step is going to be indictments and arrests of some city and state officials in Kalifornistan, Washington State, Oregon and Illinois. I won’t be at all surprised if several members of Congress are also charged. Things are coming to a head and it’s all on the Democrats.
