Good day all. Now sooner do I post a story about the Blue states demanding that SNAP be funded then an Obama judge, ignoring the plain text of the Constitution, specifically, Article 1 Section 8. This judicial tyrant has ordered that SNAP be funded.
As of November 1st, 2025, thanks to the Schumer Shutdown, funding for EBT cards ran out. We have been watching the lazy, useless dregs screaming on TikToxic that if they don’t get “Their” money, they are going to loot stores. We also have the “Usual Suspects” on the Left who filed suit to force the full funding of the SNAP benefit. They named an account that was set aside for emergencies such as natural disasters. This is what the Judge is ordering to be spent. Here are the details from the Washington Times:
A federal judge on Friday directed the Trump administration to pay out some food stamp benefits for November using contingency funds, rejecting the government’s argument that the government shutdown has effectively shuttered the program.
Judge Jack McConnell, an Obama appointee to the court in Rhode Island, said Congress allocated billions of dollars to a contingency fund that can be used to pay at least some of the money.
How does NO sound to you?
And U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee in Massachusetts, also ruled that the contingency funds should be used to pay some benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — though her ruling gave the government until Monday to say what its plans were.

“Defendants erred in concluding that USDA is statutorily prohibited from using the contingency reserve to fund SNAP benefits during the pendency of the lapse in appropriations,” she ruled.
The plans are quite simple, Get the Democrats to vote to pass the continuing resolution so that the Government is funded. Until then, no fund can be spent. Thank you, have a nice day! Simply put, that money is not available to SNAP. What’s more, it won’t cover the November payments. According The Hill:
The roughly $5.25 billion fund is not enough to fully cover November benefits for the food assistance program, which will cost the government upward of $9 billion.

Well now, that’s a problem. I wonder who these Obama Judges are going to provide money to and who is going to starve? Now the problem is that for all intents and purposes, once the funding ran out, the programs shut down. Basically, they don’t exist any longer. Returning to the Washington Times story:
The dispute boils down to whether a $6 billion pot of money Congress passed as a contingency fund to last through Sept. 30, 2026, can be used to pay benefits even in the shutdown. The Office of Management and Budget has already tapped $750 million of the contingency funding, leaving more than $5 billion available.
And here is where things get interesting and why the Administration’s lawyers say the funds can’t be spent on SNAP.
The Agriculture Department said the money might be there, but SNAP no longer is. And without a program, it cannot access the funds.
“It’s called a contingency fund, and by law, [the] contingency fund can only flow when the underlying fund is flowing,” Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said Friday.
And that is why the funds could be used to pay the military. They are still in business and mostly funded. The SNAP program ran out of money and is shut down until fresh funds are appropriated by Congress.

This is where the problem arises. (There are others like why 10% of the American population is living off the other 90%?) The administration doesn’t believe they can spend that money legally and President Trump has said as much. Returning to The Hill story:
President Trump indicated Friday he would fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) if given “the appropriate legal direction” after a federal judge ordered officials to spend an emergency fund for the program.
“Our Government lawyers do not think we have the legal authority to pay SNAP with certain monies we have available, and now two Courts have issued conflicting opinions on what we can and cannot do,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
And that’s when the Supreme Court gets involved. I suspect that once SCOTUS looks into this, those two Obama judges are going to get two virtual judicial bullets to the back of the head. It will also be the usual 6-3 ruling with Associate Idiot Justice Brown Jackson making an utter fool of herself…again.

Another issue, and one I need to look into, are reports that most of the people collecting SNAP and other welfare money aren’t even American citizens. I’ve also seen reports that a large number are, in fact, illegal aliens, although I have yet to find any confirmation on this.
What these unconstitutional ruling are doing is providing more ammunition to the Trump Administration and the Republicans in the House and Senate to finally take action against the Judicial branch. There is already talk about impeaching the more radical members of the bench, however that would require the Democrats to go along, and they never will. Another possibility would be disbanding all the inferior courts, (anything below the Supreme Court), and then rebuilding everything from the ground up.
Finally, there could be the possibility of arresting a few of these judges. The ones I’m thinking of are consistently overturned by the appellate courts or the Supreme Court. Not a few of these idiots are continuing to issue blatantly political rulings, in a few cases, flat out ignoring the instructions of the Supreme Court.
No matter what happens, something will. What it will be, I can’t say. I certainly don’t want anything done that would be obviously unlawful. I want these tyrannical judicial blowhards legally removed and utterly humiliated. I have a sneaking suspicion that at some point, we are going to see the Administration responding to yet another illegal order by saying one simple phrase.

That would send a shock wave through the judicial branch and congress. However, if the Administration were to lay out the reasons why they were flat our rejecting a court order, and the reasons were obvious to anyone with a functioning brain, (Which leaves out your average Liberal Democrat), it might just lay the groundwork for a major overhaul of the Judicial branch, up to and including an amendment to the Constitution. (The content to be determined later) In the mean time, lets see how this progresses. Perhaps it will start peeling Democrats away from Schumer and they vote to end the shutdown on the Republicans terms.
