It looks like Mamdani intends to outlaw private property

Good day all. The new communist mayor of New York City is living down to expectations. He has been selecting people for his administration who are patently unqualified, but are good doctrinaire Marxists. One of these people is Cea Weaver.

Until I saw this, I had never heard of Cea Weaver. Comrade Mayor Mamdani has appointed her to be the director of a make believe agency. It seems that she is a standard AWFL and a radical Libtard. She seems to want to seize private property and intends to hurt those of us who are of European decent. Here are the details from Fox News:

In a resurfaced tweet and video clip, a top housing official in newly minted New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration previously called home ownership a “weapon of white supremacy” and argued that property should be treated as a “collective good.”

Cea Weaver, a longtime housing activist and member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), was tapped by Mamdani to be his director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants.

The DSA is just another name for Communists. Their platform essentially mirrors that of every socialist and communist run country that ever existed.

Since taking office, Weaver has gone viral for several tweets she posted on her since-deleted X account.

Oh this should be good. I’ve known for decades that it’s not possible to remove anything from the Internet. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens on the Internet stays on the internet forever. Deleting her TwitterX account isn’t going to hide her idiocies.

A screenshot of an Aug. 21, 2019, tweet shows Weaver writing that “private property including and kind of ESPECIALLY home ownership is a weapon of white supremacy masquerading as ‘wealth building’ public policy.”

One of the interesting little details that has come out is that Weaver’s mother owns a home in Nashville valued at $1.6 million dollars. So it looks like she wants to take her mother’s house and throw her mother out into the street.

In an earlier tweet from Dec. 18, 2017, Weaver also called to “elect more communists.”

Weaver is a communist. She has never actually experienced what living in a communist totalitarian state is like. Unless she was one of the ruling elite, which I have no doubt that she expects to be, you are an expendable cog in the State’s machine. You are property of the state.

In a DSA video from March 2021 that has since gone viral, Weaver said, “I think the reality is that for centuries, we have really treated property as an individualized good and not a collective good.”

She went on to say that “transitioning to treating it as a collective good towards a model of shared equity, will require that we think about it differently.”

Weaver then goes on to show how much she hates white people even though she, herself, is Caucasian.

Weaver said this “will mean that families, and white families especially, but some POC [people of color] families who are homeowners as well, are going to have a different relationship to property than the one that we currently have.”

Basically, Weaver wants to seize private property. There is already a new law that was rammed through the city council and signed by the Communist mayor that basically is designed to take people’s houses from them. According to 77 WABC:

Homeowners and small landlords are facing what critics are calling a direct assault on private property rights after the New York City Council approved a sweeping new housing law that hands government-favored nonprofits unprecedented power over real estate sales. The measure establishes the so-called Community Opportunity to Purchase Act (COPA), a policy that forces certain property owners to give politically connected nonprofit groups the first right of refusal when selling multifamily buildings – even allowing them to match or override private offers.

From what I’ve heard, the law can force property owners who want to sell to another private entity may have to sell their property to a nonprofit and that the nonprofit can decide what the price they will pay is. So if the property owner has someone who will pay $2 million dollars, a nonprofit can come in and say “We think this is only worth $100,000 and you will take it.” Needless to say, property owners are outraged.

Reaction on X has been fierce. One user wrote, “NYC’s COPA is a massive government overreach. Mayor Mamdani is letting nonprofits jump the line to seize property while owners are stuck in 90 days of red tape. This kills the market and violates property rights. Socialism doesn’t fix housing, it just destroys the city.” Another commenter added bluntly, “Are we really that surprised? Elect a socialist. Get socialist policy. Now your house is OUR house.”

I expect this is going to be challenged in court. How it will turn out, I can’t say. However, this is what the Office to Protect Tenants is probably going to be involved with. Someone else who is going to be involved is Harmeet Dhillon.

In response, U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon told Fox News that the “Civil Rights Division of the DOJ is on high alert as to the radical agenda promised by Mayor Mamdani, much of which is at odds with our federal Constitutional and civil rights norms.”

Dhillon said the DOJ “will not hesitate to take legal action to protect the civil rights of New York City residents.”

In the statement, Weaver said she was “humbled and honored to join Mayor Mamdani’s administration – and to stand with him on his very first day in office as he makes clear where his priorities lie: with the millions of tenants in New York City who have been mistreated for too long by negligent landlords.”

I wonder what the New York State Attorney General, Letitia James, is thinking about Weaver, Mamdani and this COPA law? She owns property in New York City and is a landlord. She might end up having to sell that property to cover legal costs over her alleged mortgage and tax fraud. Under this law, she might end up having the property basically taken from her for pennies on the dollar.

Well, 14% of the voters in New York put this commie into office and they can’t be surprised that they are going to turn the city into North Korea on the Hudson. I expect that the real estate market in New York is going to collapse in the next 12-24 months. When it goes, so does the tax base, especially with all the rich people saying that they’re leaving and taking their money with them. The resident of New York City are going to get what they wanted, good and hard and Cea Weaver is all set to go full on Pol Pot on property owners.
