Good day all. A day after an ICE agent had to shoot a Karen anti-ICE lesbian after she tried to run him down in her SUV, two illegal aliens were shot in Portland, Oregon by ICE agents.
When this was first reported, the usual suspect were all screaming “ICE Murderers!” (Even though both suspects survived), “Ban ICE!” “Defund ICE!” etc. Then the details came out. The two illegals were gang members belonging to Tren de Aragua. (TdA) What was worse, from the Communists point of view, these two were absolute trash. They tried to run down federal agents as they attempted to escape and that was when the agents arranged for them to start leaking their “Precious bodily fluids.” (H/T Brigadier General Jack D. Initially, the usual suspects started screaming about the “Poor Innocent Migrants just trying to make a better life for themselves!” Then came a news conference with the Portland Chief of Police regarding the incident. The wimp actually broke down and cried over the whole thing. Here are the details from Fox News:
Portland Police Chief Bob Day wiped away tears Friday as he addressed new information showing that two illegal immigrants shot during a federal immigration enforcement encounter had ties to the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA).
Day confirmed a Department of Homeland Security statement identifying the two individuals — Luis David Nico Moncada and Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras — as Venezuelan criminal illegal aliens with suspected ties to TdA.
Well, that explains why he was crying. These two were actual criminals and terrorists. He was hoping it was just some poor innocent married couple and he could then make trouble for the Federal Agents. (Here’s a hint. Not a chance could he cause trouble, no matter how much he wanted to)
Both were shot by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent after Moncada, the driver of the vehicle, allegedly “weaponized his vehicle” and attempted to run over agents, prompting an agent to fire in self-defense, according to DHS.
This is when the libtard politically connect wimp started crying.
“They do have some nexus to involvement with TDA. We can confirm that,” Day said, pausing and choking up.
And here is where this idiot dives head first into the shallow end.
“I want to speak for just a moment, specifically to my Latino community,” Day said.
Your Latino community? Are you saying that you own all those people? That they are your property? My, how Democrat of you.
“It saddens me that we even have to qualify these remarks because I understand or at least have attempted to understand your voices, your concern, your fear, your anger,” Day said, removing his glasses mid-sentence and wiping tears from his eyes.
“This information, in no way, is meant to disparage or to condone or support or agree with any of the actions that occurred yesterday,” the chief added.
Day emphasized that he was disclosing the suspected gang ties for transparency only and that the information should not be interpreted as excusing or justifying the shooting, which remains under investigation.
What a flipping moron. All he had to do was present the facts that they had to the public and then shut up. Yes, there would have been some questions and answers, but all he had to do is say “This is what we know at this time and the investigation continues.” Instead he put out this crap.
“But it is important that we stay committed to the rule of law, that we stay committed to the facts, that we stay a trustworthy and legitimate police department for all Portlanders,” he said.
Upholding the rule if law is not something this tool is noted for doing. Just ask Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Day has come under fire previously from Camilla Wamsley, the director of Portland’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office, who said the facility has endured dozens of nights of violence and that Portland police have been largely absent while responding to protests under direction from the mayor and city council.
Day has previously stated that his force will not assist in immigration enforcement operations, but noted that Portland Police manages public safety in the surrounding neighborhoods during demonstrations.
From the reports I’ve been seeing, they actually don’t. There have been a number of people, mostly independent journalists and reporters, who have been attacked by these peacefully violent protesters. When they went to the Portland police, they were either ignored or arrested.
In fact, when I reviewed my archives, Portland Police have been notoriously absent when the mostly peaceful but extremely violent protesters were rampaging through the city. Portland was one of the cities that President Trump was looking to send in National Guard troops to back up the Federal Agents. I’m actually surprised that only one of these protesters has been shot. The way things have been going since President Trump won the election, never mind talking office, I’m actually surprised we don’t have a full on shooting civil war.
Thing are starting to come to a head now and this police chief, like any number of others, has better decide what their job is. Is it to protect the community, or is it to let the Antifa and other communists run rampant? The way things are going, people like Chief Robert Day are going to make a decision. Uphold the law, or stand there and blubber like a little 3 year old about how unfair things are. If things keep going downhill, President Trump will have no choice but to use the insurrection act and send in troops. Do your job Day or quit and go sell time shares.
