Good day all. I am of the opinion that we are in the opening stages of an outright civil war between the left and everyone else. I expected this to start in California or Illinois, not in Minnesota. The Left has now cranked up the “Protest” dial to just short of murder and have begun physically attacking anyone they think supports ICE.
This should never have happened. The city of Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota should have sent in the needed resources to shut down these thugs. Instead, Mayor Frey and Govno Walz have been pushing things along. Now the DoJ has had it and has opened an investigation into these two. Here are the details from Fox News:
Fox News has learned federal prosecutors are investigating both Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for allegedly impeding law enforcement efforts in the blue state.
Two sources familiar confirmed the probe, though no additional details about the investigation have been publicly released.
This sounds a little bit like the usual “Anonymous sources” the Legacy Media loves to trumpet.
Sources said the investigation is in early stages, and it is unclear if it will result in any criminal charges.
I can see why there would be no announcement regarding a potential charge of impeding federal agents. It will be difficult to get the evidence they need, if it exists. This makes me think that we have a Libtard mole who is trying to short circuit the investigations.
U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox News the duo’s anti-ICE rhetoric was teetering on a federal crime.
“When the governor or the mayor threaten our officers, when the mayor suggests that he’s encouraging citizens to call 911 when they see ICE officers, that is very close to a federal crime,” Blanche said.
That is why I don’t think this was from any “Official” leaker. Washington runs on leaks, but the Trump administration has been pretty good at shutting them down. In many cases, they’ve put out false yet enticing information and let the leaker identify him or herself once the story is published. Then they publicly fire them.
Walz responded to the news by accusing the Trump administration of “weaponizing the justice system.”
“Two days ago, it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly,” Walz wrote in an X post. “Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic. The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.”
Oh that’s a laugh riot considering what we’ve seen happening for the last five years, especially since the worst, most corrupt president in American history was installed into office.
Frey also weighed in on social media, asserting he “will not be intimidated.”
“This is an obvious attempt to intimidate me for standing up for Minneapolis, local law enforcement, and residents against the chaos and danger this Administration has brought to our city,” Frey wrote on X. “I will not be intimidated. My focus remains where it’s always been: keeping our city safe.
What a flat out liar Frey is. It was under his watch that Minneapolis was basically looted and burned to the ground during the summer of fiery but peaceful love. If this liar actually cared about keeping the citizens safe, he would be helping ICE round up all the criminals they’ve been going after.
ICE’s current objective is to get illegal aliens who are guilty of other crimes out of the country. These are murders, rapists, thieves, drug dealers and smugglers and child molesters. While ICE will grab an illegal who hasn’t done anything else if they happen across, them, they are a secondary priority.
Both Democrat leaders have encouraged anti-immigration enforcement protests following the death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, who was fatally shot Jan. 7 by a federal agent while allegedly blocking an ICE operation in Minneapolis.
“Help us establish a record of exactly what’s happening in our communities. You have an absolute right to peacefully film ICE agents as they conduct these activities,” Walz said. “So, carry your phone with you at all times. And if you see these ICE agents in your neighborhood, take out that phone and hit record.
“Help us create a database of the atrocities against Minnesotans, not just to establish a record for posterity. But to bank evidence for future prosecution.”
Walz is dangerously close to flat out rebellion. I also think that there is a lot more going on then a simple investigation into impeding federal agents. The massive amount of fraud uncovered in Minnesota has led a number of people to start asking how this was allowed to happen. There is information that Govno Walz may have actively blocked any oversight by various government agencies.
Then we have the sudden and, to date, inexplicable increase in Ilhan Omar’s personal finances. Even San Fran Nan of the House of Insider Trading didn’t do as well as Omar did. More than a few people think that Walz, Frey and also Ellison are trying to cause an incident in order to block the actual investigations into how much was stolen and how far up the in the DFL, (Minnesota’s version of the Democrat Party) this goes.
As I finished up this post, even more violence by the “Ever so peaceful” protesters is happening. People are being attacked in the street if they are suspected of supporting ICE. A church was stormed by thugs who thought that the pastor/reverend was assisting ICE. At least one person was stabbed other beaten. Nothing is being done by the local police to stop these attacks. Is it any wonder that the DoJ might think that Frey and Walz are involved? We will find out eventually.
