Obama, National Socialist?

Good day all, as you know, I’m not what you would call a fan of Barack Hussein Obama. To be honest, you would not be far off in saying I hate his guts. I do believe that I may have compared him to a Nazi a time or two.

Well now that meme is beginning to make an appearance in more reputable blogs than mine. This morning I saw a posting from Powerline Blog show up in my RSS feeds. The posting, by John Hinderaker, caught me by surprise. Powerline Blog is a group blog run by moderate to conservative Republicans. Outright screaming wingnut members of the lunatic right, (Such as yours truly…That was humor you moonbats), they most certainly are not. These are very reputable lawyers and businessmen and are not the type to shoot from the hip. I doubt they’ve even heard of my blog nor read any of my rantings and ravings.

Imagine my surprise when Mr. Hinderaker asked “Is Obama Introducing National Socialism to the United States?”

That is a big topic on which much can be said. The U.S. has dabbled in National Socialism before; elements of Roosevelt’s New Deal emulated Mussolini’s policies, and were implemented by men who made no secret of their admiration for Il Duce. But it has been a long time since anyone has seriously tried to turn the United States in a National Socialist direction.

Which is what Barack Obama seems to be doing. Consider his 983 executive orders, compared with George W. Bush’s 63 [See Update below]. Or his extra-constitutional czars; or his illegal cramdown of bondholders in auto bankruptcies; or the explosion in warrantless wiretaps and the even greater explosion in federal regulations; or his “green energy” scams to distort the economy and enrich political cronies; or the recent revelation that the Obama family costs U.S. taxpayers something like twenty times what the British Royal Family costs its subjects. Or, more important, consider Obamacare, a classic top-down National Socialist program.

When I saw the number of executive orders King Putt had issued, I was stunned. The Executive Order was never meant to be used as Der Fubar has used it. Here is what Wikipedia has to say on the subject:

U.S. Presidents have issued executive orders since 1789, usually to help officers and agencies of the executive branch manage the operations within the federal government itself. Executive orders have the full force of law, since issuances are typically made in pursuance of certain Acts of Congress, some of which specifically delegate to the President some degree of discretionary power (delegated legislation), or are believed to take authority from a power granted directly to the Executive by the Constitution. However, these perceived justifications cited by Presidents when authoring Executive Orders have come under criticism for exceeding Executive authority; at various times throughout U.S. history, challenges to the legal validity or justification for an order have resulted in legal proceedings. In other countries, similar edicts may be known as decrees, or orders in council.

Even Adolph Hitler didn’t issue that many Fuhrer Directives ((List of Fuhrer Directives)) during his 12 year reign of terror. Obama’s contempt for the Rule of Law and the Constitution is well known and frankly should have resulted in his removal from office some time ago. That it didn’t shows the cowardice of the Republicans and the corruption of the Democrats. Then there is the Obama Cult that has been growing since 2007.

And then there is the matter of style. The cult of personality is central to National Socialism, and Obama is part of that tradition to a degree that is, frankly, creepy. Consider this Obama poster:

As many observers have pointed out, this sort of image is fundamentally at odds with the American political tradition. Which, I suppose, is a point in its favor if you are Barack Obama. Compare the Obama poster with this one, which celebrated Lenin at the height of his dictatorial powers. The resemblance is eerie:

As I have written before, I consider Lenin to be the most evil man in world history. It was Lenin who introduced the language of pest control to politics, and both Hitler and Stalin are his legitimate progeny. Lenin, of course, was a Marxian Socialist, if you think the distinction is worth drawing.

Frankly, I don’t see the need at all. National Socialism and Marxist Socialism are two peas in a pod. What Mr. Hinderaker should have done was list other “Leaders” who built cults of personality around themselves ((Cult of personality)). Lenin and Hitler have already been mentioned. Here are a few others you probably know of.

1. Josef Stalin
2. Mao Tse Tung
3. Kim Il-sung
4. His murderous spawn Kim Jong-il
5. Pol Pot
6. Saddam Hussein

Between these six tyrants, they slaughtered over 120 million people. Obama isn’t a mass murder, but he is responsible for the deaths of several hundred Mexican citizens. ((Operation Fast and Furious)) Any other president, such as G.W. Bush, would have been hounded out office long ago. However, thanks to the Cult Obama has built up around himself not to mention the utter corruption of the Democrat party, he keeps getting a free ride.

I have no doubt that you are thinking that I’m full of it and that Mr. Hinderaker should get back on his meds ((Aripiprazole)) asap. Perhaps you have forgotten this video from a few years ago.

And then we also have Obama’s version of the S.A. ((Sturmabteilung)) Known as “The Obama Boyz.” If you haven’t heard of them, don’t feel left out. The Obama Steno Pool has avoided any discussion of them since it would make King Putt look bad.

Here are a few details from the Daily Caller on this charming bunch of “youths.”

A member of a violent St. Louis gang named after President Barack Obama, the Obama Boyz, has been charged with shooting two teenagers in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

18-year-old Anthony Jamal Lee shot a 13-year-old boy in his side, sending him to the hospital, and Lee’s bullets also grazed a 17-year-old boy’s face and arm, the charges read.

Lee may not be released in time to vote in the presidential election, unless someone wants to pay his $100,000 bail. He is charged with 10 felony charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and firing shots from a vehicle.

Did “The One” condemn the actions of these thugs? Did he demand that his Attorney General look into and federal charges that could be brought? I’ll give you three chances, but you’ll only need one. (If you can’t figure that out, the answer is NO) What about the networks and newspapers? Aren’t they covering this six ways from Sunday? Click here while you’re waiting for that answer.

A second term for Obama will pretty much end the United States as a free nation. With his penchant for ruling by decree and the utter refusal by Congress to push back, we will see the start of a full blown police state come into being. Frankly, Obama should be retired on January 20^th and shipped back to that third world hellhole he came from. (That would be Chicago) The choice is yours.
