Good day all. Our old friend, Slow Joe Biden apparently got separated from his minders again and once again spoke the truth. He didn’t mean to of course, but as we all know, Biden’s brain is not very well connected to his mouth. He will say the first thing that comes to mind.
In this case, his “Don’t tell them the truth about the economy!” filter was offline. In this case, he admitted that the middle class was in bad shape for the last four years. In a story from France 24, (Notice how this is NOT in an American Main Stream Media web site?), Biden said:
“How they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that’s been buried in the last four years,” Biden, addressing supporters in North Carolina, said in reference to the period he and Obama have been leading the nation.
How indeed Joe. As someone suffering mightily under the Obama tyranny, I don’t want more taxes to pay for your bosses socialist style of government. Perhaps, King Putt took the hint offered by you and is working to stop the massive Obama tax hike that will kick in next year.
The White House quickly sought to douse the flames, saying Biden was talking about how president George W. Bush’s policies continued to hurt the middle class deep into Obama’s term.
That would be a big NO I take it? After four years of Obama led incompetence and you clowns are still trying to blame Bush. I hate to be the one to brake it to you, but George Walker Bush hasn’t been president for almost four years now. That didn’t stop you from doubling down on stupid of course.
Biden himself offered up his own correction in a tweet from his official Twitter feed: “‘The middle class was buried by the policies that Romney and Ryan have supported.”
To late Joe! You spoke the truth, (In one of the few occurrences in your miserable excuse for a life), and the Republicans thank you for it.
The Republicans, who argue that the middle class has been hard hit by four years of an Obama economy, let fly in the blink of an eye.
“Agree with @JoeBiden, the middle class has been buried the last 4 years, which is why we need a change in November,” said a tweet from Mitt Romney’s official Twitter account.
And of course, soon to be Vice President Elect Paul Ryan chimed in.
Romney’s running mate Paul Ryan issued a scathing response.
“Unemployment has been above eight percent for 43 months. Our economy is limping along right now. Vice President Biden, just today, said that the middle class, over the last four years, has been ‘buried.’ We agree,” he told a rally in Iowa.
“That means we need to stop digging by electing Mitt Romney the next president of the United States.”
I expect Slow Joe will be sent on another extended vacation somewhere. Perhaps the dark side of the moon?
In any case, the presidential debate is tonight. The TelePrompTer in Chief was not invited so Obama will have to say what he actually thinks. Yeah, that won’t end well for him.
