Good day all. Recall how Comrade Bernie suddenly exploded on the election scene last year? Remember just how close he came to ending Felonia von Pantsuit’s “Inevitable 50 point win?” How did Comrade Bernie come so close that it took cheating by Felonia and her minions for her to secure the nomination?
It was actually very simple. Comrade Bernie came across to the Moonbats as a more authentic Communist totalitarian than Felonia. Well, Comrade Bernie has a problem. It’s his wife, Czarina Jane. It seems that when she was the president of a small collage in Burlington, Vermont, she thought nothing of playing fast and loose with the schools finances. Because of her, Burlington College is no more. Now, thanks to the games she was playing, the Federal Bureau of Investigations is now looking into things. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
Sen. Bernie Sanders and his wife have hired defense attorneys amid an FBI probe into a loan the senator’s wife procured for Burlington College while she was school president, according to news reports.
Sanders, a Vermont Independent, and wife Jane hired a legal team in connection to a 2010 loan application Jane Sanders purportedly filed so the school could borrow $10 million to purchase 33 acres of land, as reported first by Politico.
I recall writing about this a year ago, and I was my usual kind and sympathetic self. Long story short, Jane Sanders “Enhanced” the finances of the college on the loan applications she filed. These “enhanced” finances somehow magically went away and led to the collapse of the college. Some people seem to think that Jane Sanders might, possibly, potentially, have lied on the loan documents.
Jane Sanders purportedly distorted school donor levels in the loan application she filed to People’s United Bank, according to the January 2016 complaint. The liberal arts college closed that same year.
I can see why Czarina Jane might need a good lawyer. Wire fraud is a federal offense, which would explain the FBI being involved. But, why is Comrade Bernie hiring a lawyer? I thought he was the “Great Marxist Hope” for hundreds of thousands of blithering idiots youths who wanted to steal other people’s money make government great again?
Politico also reports that federal prosecutors could be looking into allegations that Sen. Sanders’ office tried inappropriately to get the bank to approve the loan.
As you might expect, the Moonbats are barking that this is all President Trumps doing and that he wants to “Get” Comrade Bernie and Czarina Jane.
The claims regarding the loan were filed to the U.S. attorney in Vermont by Brady Toensing, who led President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign in the state. Toensing told CBS that the investigation was started during the Obama administration.
So, the Trump team inherited yet another mess from the Great Mistake?
As for Comrade Bernie, he doesn’t really have a lot to say about all this.
Sanders has called the allegations “nonsense,” but last month said commenting on the matter would be “improper.”
As in “I am invoking my rights under the 5th Amendment of the Constitution.” I have no idea if Comrade Bernie used his office to push through the loans that eventually collapsed Burlington College. Considering that he has the typical mindset of a senior communist apparatchik, that he is one of the ruling elite and therefore above the law, I wouldn’t be surprised. Comrade Bernie is just another Washington Swamp dweller. As to whether or not there is any “There” there, we shall see.
