Good day all. Well it’s been a good run for the Anti First Amendment thugs, also known as Antifa. However, it looks like the heat from their activities is starting to burn their supporters in the Democrat Party.
The blowback on Antifa and it’s supporters has been loud, with a number of very pointed remarks that if the Democrats don’t shut down their thugs, then the regular folk would, and with lethal force. Now Nancy Pelosi has decided that the time has come to cut Antifa loose. Here are the details from Fox News:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., says the “violent” members of Antifa — those members of the anti-fascist group who allegedly attacked conservative demonstrators over the weekend in Berkeley, Calif. — should be arrested and prosecuted.
“Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts,” Pelosi said in a statement Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “The violent actions of people calling themselves Antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation.”
Well, that’s a big how do you do to Antifa. Wasn’t San Fran Nan singing their praises just a week or so ago? I guess one of her minions happened to notice that people who support President Trump, and/or support the 1st Amendment, were getting fed up and had started showing up at the events armed.
I’m sure that somewhere in the dim, dusty reaches of that mass of manure she calls a brain, she recalls what happened the last time the Democrats started violently attacking people they disagreed with. She may have been a bit on the young side, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t remember what it was like when she watched Fort Sumter being shelled by the Confederates.
The article pointed out that the famous California liberal distanced the Democratic Party from the group. In addition, Pelosi told the Denver Post’s editorial board: “You’re not talking about the far left of the Democratic Party — they’re not even Democrats. A lot of them are socialists or anarchists or whatever.”
There’s a difference? I thought that the Democrats embraced all that is socialism, up to and including gulags for dissidents. Those dissidents? Why that would be anyone who didn’t toe the Proglodyte line of course.
Pelosi, who represents a district in neighboring San Francisco, had been criticized for not condemning the Antifa violence as forcefully as she had warned about the potential for unrest at a Patriot Prayer rally that had been planned for Saturday.
That’s because, deep down, Pelosi supported the actions of the Anti First Amendment terrorists, at least until it started blowing back into her well Botoxed face. Still, she’s way to late. The Democrats and their supporters are going to be tarred and feathered, virtually speaking, by theur connection to and support of the Antifa thugs. You bought Pelosi, it’s all yours.
