Recently, that worthless turd and political failure, Mittens Romney, announced that he had his carpetbag and was going to run for the Senate seat held by Orrin Hatch in Utah.
Almost before he announced, Romney had the support of the GOP Establishment Rino wing of the Beltway Uniparty. Senate Majority leader, and all around swamp dweller, Mitch McConnell has told President Trump that he has to support Romney’s run for the Senate. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is encouraging President Trump to throw his support behind Mitt Romney’s U.S. Senate candidacy despite their rocky past.
“I can’t imagine that he’s not,” McConnell, R-Ky., told the New York Times on Friday when asked if the president was going to support Romney’s campaign. “We don’t want to lose the seat, and this looks like a pretty formidable candidate.”
I can imagine President Trump not supporting that worthless POS. Romney actively worked to take the nomination away from President Trump at the convention. There is also the problem of Mittens political baggage. He shoved Romneycare down the throats of the citizens of Massachusetts, and that was the prototype for Obamacare. There is also the fact that Romney is a flat out political failure.
The 2012 Republican presidential nominee and former governor of Massachusetts has been no stranger to questioning Trump’s leadership, but said on Friday that he will work with the president on policies that benefit his constituents if elected.
However, he also vowed hold the president accountable if he deems it necessary.
“If he says something I don’t like, I will call it like I see it,” Romney said before a group of Utah Republicans, just hours after announcing his candidacy in the 2018 U.S. Senate race in the state.
How about we adjust this to what Romney has said in the past shall we? He wants to Stop Trump from Making America Great Again. Romney is a globalist. He believes in open borders. He loves big government and thinks that the citizens of this country are to stupid to run their own lives. He is a classic RINO. I hope that someone else is running in his primary. Mittens deserves to be humiliated again in yet another crushing defeat. Or perhaps he’ll just quit like he usually does when things get politically tough.
