Good day all. Kalifornistan does many things for it’s criminal classes, including providing drivers licenses to illegal aliens. The reasons for this was due to the problem of illegal aliens driving without licenses and getting into crashes, no insurance and other things like speeding and breaking the rules of the road.
In what passes for logic out there, it was decided that the best way to fix that problem was to just give driving licenses to the illegals. Then, at least as far as the driving laws were concerned, they would be legal.
One of the problems with this, among many, is that California drivers licenses are no longer considered valid forms of identification. This means people with only drivers licenses can’t use them to get on airplanes or into federal facilities. Of course, there are other issues such as Kalifornistan’s protecting illegal aliens in violation of pretty much every law on the books. It also facilitates other crimes such as voter fraud. Here’s what Fox News has to say on the matter:
More than one million illegal immigrants living in California have received driver’s licenses, according to a new report. The state’s Department of Motor Vehicles announced that as of March 31, 1,001,000 illegal immigrants have received licenses, The Sacramento Bee reported on Wednesday.
Just a side note here. I tried to refer directly to the Sacramento Bee’s story, but it seems to have fallen into a deep, dark pit of Progressivism.
Illegal immigrants have been legally allowed to obtain driver’s licenses in the state since Jan. 1, 2015 after Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 60, “The Safe and Responsible Drivers Act,” into law. The bill was meant to help illegal immigrants “get to work, drive their children to school, and run everyday errands without the fear of being pulled over,” according to DriveCA.
First, the only way a criminal alien is pulled over is if they’re obvious about their law breaking. In other words, they have to be breaking the traffic laws to get the attention of the police. Second, this is Kalifornistan’s Supreme Soviet once again demonstrating their utter contempt for the United States and the Constitution. Then there is the problem of Kalifornistan’s “Motor Voter” law.
In Kalifornistan, when you get a drivers license, you are also automatically enrolled to vote. This is an “Opt Out” system. In other words, unless you check a box to say that you don’t want to be enrolled to vote, you are automatically enrolled to vote. Obviously, I haven’t seen the actual license forms, so I don’t know how obvious the opt out option is. Knowing how Kalifornistan operates, it probably is in the fine print and not easily seen.
Because of this, the odds are that easily 1 million criminal aliens are now listed on the voter roles, along with who knows how many other lawful resident aliens. Granted, most of the lawful resident aliens know they aren’t allowed to vote, but the illegals are already breaking the laws by being here. Voting illegally means nothing to them, and it might get them more benefits at the cost of American Citizens and legal resident aliens.
This is not a bug, but a feature as far as the Kalifornistan Supreme Soviet is concerned. if/when those illegally registered to vote do so, they will probably vote for the Progressive Liberal Totalitarian Democrats. Is it any wonder people in the rest of the country have been questioning the voter totals in the People’s Democratic Republic of Kalifornistan?
Critical mass has been reached out there, and a number of local governments and citizens, along with some lawful resident aliens, are starting to push back against the Kalifornistan central committee. Right now, they are being protected by their pet judges who will ignore the laws and the Constitution. Eventually, something really bad will happen and Kalifornistan, along with other Progressive Democrat controlled states and, under the worst case scenario, will find themselves declared in rebellion, and under martial law, stripped of their statehood.
Granted, we’re a long way from that, (and as far as I’m concerned, really don’t want to see that happen), but if things don’t change soon, there’s going to be an explosion and it won’t end well for anyone. The progressive liberal Democrats are the cause of most of the recent problems. It seems they really want to have another civil war. They seem to have forgotten that the last one they started, they also lost. If they manage to trip off another one, they will lose this time too, and unlike the last time, there will be no reconciliation. It’s time to stop this progressive, anti-American garbage before we reach the point of no return. Ending drivers licenses and any other benefits to criminal aliens is a good place to start.
