Google workers support America’s enemies

Good day all. It’s no secret that Google, Twitter and most of the Silicon Valley tech companies are run by and employ barking moonbats. Stories are constantly coming out on how these people are using technology to flat out censor anyone who disagrees with the doctrine of the Crypto-Fascist CommuNazis, aka The Democrat party.

However, there is another small issue that most of these junior idiots forget. The tech companies are in business to make money, and no money coming in means all these Socialist NoJustice Wimps will be out on the street. To make some money to keep these moonbats in Fruit Loops, these companies will take on contracts from government agencies, including the Department of Defense. This has outraged some of the perpetually outraged working at Google. So they quit. Here are the details from Fox News:

About a dozen Google employees are resigning in protest over the tech giant’s involvement in Project Maven, a controversial military program that uses artificial intelligence, Gizmodo reports.

Project Maven, which harnesses AI to improve drone targeting, has been a source of concern for a number of Google employees. Last month, over 3,100 Google workers signed a letter addressed to the company’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, asking him to pull the tech giant out of the project.

First, it was nice of all these moonbats to make it easy for the Government to deny them security clearances if they should ever need one. Second, I have a feeling that Pichai will basically tell these morons “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.” They forget that in the end, Pichai answers to the shareholders, not the employees.

The resigning employees’ concerns range from ethical worries about the use of AI in drone warfare to qualms about Google’s political decisions and a potential erosion of user trust, according to Gizmodo.

I don’t see a problem with Drones, not the way these losers are thinking about it. There will always be a “Man in the middle,” someone who actually makes the decision to fire the weapons. As for users trust in Google and the fear it might erode? I hate to be the one to break it to you children, but that ship sailed a long time ago, and then sank into oblivion. I think Paul Allen might be searching for it on the bottom of the ocean now.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based firm is said to be using machine learning to help the Department of Defense classify images captured by drones.

Photo Reconnaissance and Photo Interpretation has been around since the camera was invented. One of the hardest things to do is determine what is a legitimate target and more importantly, what isn’t.

Google, however, “should not be in the business of war,” according to the letter to Pichai that was signed by thousands of disgruntled employees. “Therefore we ask that Project Maven be cancelled, and that Google draft, publicize and enforce a clear policy stating that neither Google nor its contractors will ever build warfare technology,” the letter said, according to the New York Times.

The Google workers also noted the company’s well-known former motto, “Don’t be evil, warning that Project Maven “will irreparably damage Google’s brand and its ability to compete for talent.”

Google’s motto “Don’t be evil” has long been considered a joke. Google’s history of censorship of anyone they disagree with, including someone fired for having the nerve to speak about the monoculture inside Google speaks volumes. As for finding “Talent?” Yeah, they won’t have any problem with that. Google pays well and provided you are a basic CommuNazi, you’ll fit right in with their culture.

Google’s management, ethically challenged as they are and having serious issues with things like freedom, liberty and not sticking their noses in other people’s business, also knows that they are in business to make money. Companies that like to go all Social Justice Warrior quickly go out of business. Google has a pretty bad reputation with the government and is facing calls for an anti-trust investigation and being broken up. (Personally, I don’t see how they could be. It isn’t like Comcast, which has an infrastructure side, (The wires), and an entertainment side)

Google doesn’t need the hassle and if they can come up with something to aid in photo interpretation, then there is no problem. Perhaps the special snowflakes who think they’re so much better then everyone else might consider this. A system that can identify a target as opposed to one that thinks it has, and you end up with a leveled school instead? No, they won’t. For them, it’s all about “The Feelz.”
