Good day all. It’s finally sinking in to the meth smoking jugheads running Iran that Barack Obama isn’t the president any longer. President Trump considers Iran to be a hostile nation and a threat to the United States.
Since President Trump considers Iran to be a threat, he’s been taking action against them, starting with economic sanctions. This has angered the Mad Mullahs. They fully expected President Felonia von Pantsuit to be in office and the Oval office would be open for business. (All major currencies accepted) Now, Iran has decided to retaliate. How? By suing the United States in a United Nations court. Here are the details from CNBC:
Iranian lawyers will ask the International Court of Justice on Monday to order the United States to lift sanctions ordered by the Trump administration against Tehran. The lawsuit filed with the ICJ, also known as the World Court, says the U.S. sanctions, which are damaging its already weak economy, violate terms of a little-known 1955 friendship treaty between the two countries.

Iran broke that treaty, repeatedly, starting in 1979 when they invaded our embassy and held our diplomatic staff hostage for 444 days. I suspect they’ve also forgotten about that delcaration of war they made against the United States. (We haven’t bothered to acknowledge it, which is why Iran still exists)
The United States, which will respond formally in oral arguments on Tuesday, has yet to issue a public response.
The proper response should be “Go fuck yourselves.”
U.S. lawyers are expected to argue that the United Nations court should not have jurisdiction in the dispute, that the friendship treaty is no longer valid and that the sanctions Washington has levied against Tehran do not violate it anyway.
There is also the little detail that the UN has no power to enforce anything without the United States.
The ICJ is the United Nations tribunal for resolving international disputes. Its rulings are binding, but it has no power to enforce them and on rare occasions they have been ignored by some countries, including the United States.

The only reason the United States paid ANY attention to the United Nations court was for one of two reasons. It served our national purposes, or we had either a Globalist or someone who hated the United States running things. (Barack Obama and either of the Bush’s comes to mind)
U.S. President Donald Trump pulled out of a 2015 nuclear pact between Iran and the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, with his administration then announcing unilateral plans to restore sanctions against Tehran.
President Trump pulled out of that farce for a very simple reason. It gave Iran everything and we got nothing in return. In other words, the standard diplomatic agreements by the Obama State Department. President Trump is not a globalist and puts America first, as any of our loyal elected leaders should. (Pity most of them don’t, and this covers both sides of the aisle)
Under the 2015 deal, which Trump sees as flawed, Iran reined in its disputed nuclear program under U.N. monitoring and won a removal of international sanctions in return.
Nice bit of rewriting of history. What the “agreement” did was hand over to Iran 100+ billion dollars in hard currency for pretty much nothing. There are no real inspections, and certainly no proof that Iran is complying with the agreement. It is also good for only 10 years, at which time Iran can restart the program. (That they actually never stopped) This farce rivaled the Munich Agreement.
Although the United States’ European allies have protested against Trump’s move, most Western companies intend to adhere to the sanctions, preferring to lose business in Iran than be punished by the United States or barred from doing business there.
The reason is simple. We don’t need Europe, but they need us. Europe doesn’t need Iran, but Iran needs them. The Eurotrash running the EU are finally catching on to the fact that Donald Trump is not Barack Obama. (Or any of the presidents since Ronald Reagan buried the USSR) When President Trump says he will do something, he actually intends to do it, or at least try to.

The ICJ has so far ruled that the 1955 treaty is still valid, even though it was signed long before the 1979 Islamic Revolution that triggered decades of hostile relations with Washington.
And I suspect this will be President Trump’s answer to the ICJ:
