Kalifornistan CommuNazi announces hatred of Free Speech

Good day all. Representative Ted Lieu, (CommuNazi, Kalifornistan), Is not known for his respect for individual rights. He is not noted for supporting the Constitution he has sworn an oath to uphold. Now he has gone on record saying he would love to regulate people’s right to speak freely.

Ted Lieu is a left wing extremist. He hates the 2nd Amendment, and has no problems stripping the away ther rights of people he doesn’t like. (Which appears to be everyone) Last week, this moronic Moonbat announced that the only reason he can’t regulate free speech is that pesky 1st Amendment. Here are the details from Fox News:

California Democrat Ted Lieu bemoaned on Wednesday, (December 12, 2018), that though he would “love to be able to regulate the content of speech,” including that on Fox News, he can’t do it because of the U.S. Constitution.

Oh how the CommuNazis hate the Constitution of the United States of America. They have been working to subvert it for decades. Pity that most people support it and for good reason. It protects us from the “Ever so caring” types like this CommuNazi thug, Ted Lieu.

Lieu made the comments during an interview about the testimony of Google CEO Sundar Pichai at a House Judiciary Committee hearing, where he dismissed the allegations that the tech giant amplifies negative stories about Republican lawmakers, saying “if you want positive search results, do positive things.”

In Lieu’s mind, doing “Positive things” involves suppression of freedom, the ending of the republic and the creation of the totalitarian state run by the party formally known as “Democrats.”

CNN host Brianna Keilar praised Lieu for his performance but asked whether other Democrats should have used the committee to press Google on conspiracy theories that spread on their platforms.

It’s a very good point you make. I would love if I could have more than five minutes to question witnesses. Unfortunately, I don’t get that opportunity,” Lieu said of the committee hearings.

However, I would love to be able to regulate the content of speech. The First Amendment prevents me from doing so, and that’s simply a function of the First Amendment, but I think over the long run, it’s better the government does not regulate the content of speech,” he continued.

Nice how he tried to walk back his remark. It must have hit him as the taste of shoe leather hit his tongue that he might have said just a bit more then he intended. Pity that the “Wrong sort of people,” saw his remarks.

After his remarks aired, Lieu came under fire on social media, prompting him to go on a Twitter spree to clarify his views, including that he would like to regulate Fox News. One Twitter user had accused him of being “a poster child for the tyranny.”

Comrade Lieu responded of course.

Lieu insisted that he’s actually defending the First Amendment rather than showing his desire to regulate speech.

My whole point is that government officials always want to regulate speech, see e.g. the Republican Judiciary hearing alleging Google is biased against Republicans,” he wrote in another tweet. “But thank goodness the First Amendment prevents me, @POTUS and Republicans from doing so.”

And then, Comrade Lieu decided to double down on stupid.

I agree there are serious issues, but the speech issues are protected by the First Amendment,” the Democrat added. “Would I like to regulate Fox News? Yes, but I can’t because the First Amendment stops me. And that’s ultimately a good thing in the long run.”

Talk about totally missing the point! The Republican party does have it’s anti-free speech types, however they tend to get quickly marginalized. What the hearings that Comrade Lieu is denigrating are for, is to demonstrate that Google, Facebook and Twitter are actively suppressing opinions they don’t like.

If regulation were to come, it would be very different from what Comrade Lieu thinks or wants. The GOP would probably write laws that allow regular people who have been wrongfully suppressed to take legal action against the Social(ist) Media giants. Basically, it would allow those harmed by, for instance, Googlag’s rigging of their algorithms to sue for denial of their right to speak their minds.

The writing of such a law would be difficult, and would, in itself, have to pass Constitutional muster. Something like that would need to be debated carefully. People would need to be given as much information as possible so they could make an informed decision, something that the Social(ist) media giants, along with Comrade Ted Lieu and the rest of the CommuNazis absolutely do not want. Why? An informed population is one that can’t be easily controlled, and that is the end goal of Ted Lieu and the CommuNazi Party.
