Good day all. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke is running for president. He has no real chance of winning, especially after his recent remarks that yes, he is going to confiscate people’s guns.
This hasn’t stopped him from promising everything to everybody. Now he’s saying that it is a RIGHT to live near your job. Here are the details from Fox News:
Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke now claims you have a “right” to live near your job.
“Living close to work shouldn’t be a luxury for the rich,” the former Texas congressman tweeted Monday. “It’s a right for everyone.”
O’Rourke didn’t explain how it’s a right – or if he considers it a constitutional or a human right. But in a video posted on Twitter, the Democrat argued that living closer to one’s work would not only “reduce our impact on climate change and greenhouse emissions” but would also “improve the quality of life” for people.
“Rich people are going to have to allow — or be forced to allow — lower-income people to live near them,” he said.
First some honesty on my part. I live about 15 minutes from my Real World Job. Of course, that depends on things like traffic, the stop lights, school buses and road construction. I drive to work in my personal automobile. (A pickup truck) I could take a bus, but then the commute would take over an hour since I would be forced to follow the schedule of public transportation.
There are times that I’ve lived the better part of an hour away from my job and there was no option for public transportation. However, I had little interest in moving closer since the job was in the People’s Totalitarian Republic of Taxachusetts. It was bad enough I had to fork over 5+ percent of my pay to those tax fattened hyenas, there was no way I was going to liver under their totalitarian thumb.
Now what it sounds like is the Fake Mexican wants businesses to start up the Company Towns again. Those used to be a thing for mining companies and was a good way to separate the workers pay from their wallets. Basically, the workers were always in debt and were treated as slaves. Hmm, considering the mentality of the Democrat Elite, that may be just what they want.
Conservatives expressed bewilderment over his claims.
That’s because Conservatives tend to live in the real world, are generally rational and try to use logic instead of “Feelz.”
“First of all, there is not a single person in the universe driving three hours to get to a minimum wage job,” said blogger Matt Walsh. “Second, if living near your job is a ‘right,’ then literally anything and everything is a right. The term has no meaning at all anymore.”
Welcome to the mind of a Moonbat Mr. Walsh. They have never understood what individual rights are. The short answer is you have the right to be free to make your choices so long as you are not taking anything from other people. Progressive idiots like the Fake Mexican think you have the right to other people’s money and property if it gets them votes.
To be blunt, O’Rourke has no chance of winning the election. His big mouth has probably cost the CommuNazi party thousands of votes. He is nothing more than a spoiled rich white progressive limousine liberal. He has no idea what natural rights are. He’s already made remarks that fly in the face of the Constitution as well as an individual’s liberty and freedom. This trust fund fool should just give it up.
