Quid Pro Joe tells Coal miners, “Learn to code”

Good day all. No one has ever accused Joe Biden of being the sharpest knife in the drawer. He’s long been known as the “Gaffe master” for his predilection of saying incredibly stupid things. However, he may have just sunk his campaign with his latest bit of “wisdom.”

Quid Pro Joe, who has the political spine of a jellyfish, has a long history of changing his “views” when it’s politically expedient. Of late, he’s been hitching his horse to the climate change wagon. Now he’s decided that he doesn’t need any of the blue collar workers in Coal country to win the nomination. He’s stated that he intends to shut the entire industry down, and that the miners should just “Learn to code.” Here are the details from Fox News:

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s suggestion that coal miners should “learn to program” as the United States transitions away from fossil fuels shows “disdain” for the profession, a representative of West Virginia miners said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.”

Chris Hamilton, co-chair of the West Virginia Coal Forum, hit back at the former vice president for essentially saying coal miners should learn to code or focus on preparing for a revamped green economy.

Anybody who can go down 300-3,000 feet in a mine sure as hell can learn how to program as well,” said Biden at a campaign event Monday in New Hampshire. “But we don’t think of it that way. Anybody who can throw coal into furnace can learn how to program for God’s sake.”

I’ve been working in the computer field for my entire career, and I can tell you flat out, learning to write code is not as easy as it sounds. I can read code, to some extent, and modify things like powershell scripts, batch files and a few other scripting languages, but I can not write code from the ground up, and believe me, I’ve tried to learn it. This is why I’ve stayed on the infrastructure side of the internet.

Hamilton said the attitude from Biden and others on the left regarding coal is “inconceivable” but nothing new, given the Obama administration’s moves against the industry.

“It’s just inconceivable how someone, particularly in his position could advocate putting tens of thousands of working Americans out of work. But it comes as no surprise. Former Vice President Biden has repeatedly demonstrated his disdain for mining and for our coal miners,” he responded.

The Progressives have decided that the best way to insure the end of the United States is to push this thing called the “Green New Deal.” In it’s most basic form, it will end the United States as a prosperous, free society and turn American into a blacked out totalitarian state surpassing North Korea. President Trump, on the other hand, has embraced coal, oil and natural gas, and this is why the United States, for the first time in 70 years, is a net energy exporter. Of course. Quid Pro Joe, along with all the other Democrats, plan to put an end to that.

The remark came after Biden said at last month’s Democratic presidential primary debate that he’d sacrifice economic growth due to a boom in oil and natural gas production and potentially risk displacing hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in order to combat climate change.

Would you care to guess just how much people in that sector make? It’s a hell of a lot of money. Even with unions raking off their vigorish, miners and drillers rake in the bucks. I don’t think they’re going to be to happy having their jobs taken away by government fiat.

Biden – the front-runner in national polling in the Democratic nomination race – emphasized that “the opportunity for those workers to transition to high-paying jobs … is real.”

We shouldn’t build another new highway in America that doesn’t have charging stations on it. We have an opportunity to put 550,000 charging stations so that we own the electrical vehicle market, creating millions of jobs for people installing them, as well making sure that we own electric vehicle market,” Biden explained.

I wonder, has Quid Pro Joe, and frankly, any of the other Communists pushing the Green New Deal and putting charging stations all over the place, considered what is going to power them? It isn’t going to be solar or wind, I can promise you that.

Hamilton said Biden has been consistent in the issue since his 2020 campaign launched and will not help him win back any support in West Virginia, where Hillary Clinton was defeated by President Trump in 2016 by more than 40 points.

“Listen, these coal miners absolutely love what they do and they recognize the importance and value. It’s a very honorable profession. Our miners are very highly skilled at what they do. They do it with great pride and sophistication and they’re technologically advanced so, Vice President Biden is correct in that regard,” said Hamilton.

And that’s about all Biden is correct in. Felonia von Pantsuit lost the Coal sector with her promise to force them to shut down. The Democrats have not been helping themselves with their promises to tax the American people into oblivion as well as take their jobs away. Coal might go away, but it will do so naturally as better systems come along. Oil and Gas are doing better then coal at the moment, and it may be that the coal workers slowly migrate to the oil and gas fields.

However, what Quid Pro Joe is promising is nothing less then the economic collapse of the United States. He’s fine with that since he will be in the White House, (In his dreams), and just won’t care what anyone thinks. Quid Pro Joe might end up as the nominee, he is slightly less repulsive then Fauxahontas Warren, but he is going to be crushed by President Trump.
