Good day all. If there is one good thing that may come out of the Great Panicdemic of 2020, it will be President Trump ending many rules and regulations that were blocking businesses from providing emergency supplies.
Now that people have had a chance to see just how bad many of these regulations are, President Trump is looking to cancel them permanently. Here are the details from Fox News:
President Trump announced an executive order Tuesday, (May 19th), that aims to make hundreds of deregulations in the age of coronavirus permanent, something that would amount to a massive overhaul of regulatory policy.
“We’ve done far more regulation cutting than any president in history,” Trump said at a Cabinet meeting ahead of signing the order.
Fox News is told the executive order tells regulatory agencies to look at more than 600 regulatory actions — mostly deregulations, but also regulations and guidance — taken during the coronavirus pandemic and tell the White House which ones should be made permanent.
“We had cases where it would take 20 years to build a highway, you had to go through various agencies to get the same permit,” the president said.
“If a bureaucratic rule needs to be suspended during a time of crisis to help the American people, we should ask ourselves if it makes sense to keep at all,” Acting Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought told Fox Business.
One again, President Trump is taking aim and the regulatory portion of the Deep State. The previous administration thought the best way to do things was to regulate every part of a person’s life. Businesses, in many cases, were regulated right out of business. It was government that a Soviet apparatchik would feel right at home in.
The order will use emergency authority to figure out the best way to identify which other regulations still in place can be suspended to help jumpstart the economy. It will ask agencies which authorities they have to take action that would lead to putting people back to work, and that list should be sent to the OMB.
“Typically when our country has faced a crisis, Washington responds by grabbing more power. President Trump understands that to get the economy moving, the power needs to be given back to the people and entrepreneur,” Vought said.
And here is the reason the Deep State Uniparty so despises President Trump. He is the first president in almost a century who has actually run a successful business, and has had to deal with the idiotic rules and regulations promulgated by bureaucrats who’s goals are anything but the success of Americans.
The order also relaxes compliance measures overall. Agencies will be told not to over-enforce regulations on small businesses and nonprofits that are doing the best they can.
That’s a big one. When it comes to enforcing regulations, you can always count in the bureaucracy to “Go for the max.” There are dozens if not hundreds of cases where some officious bureaucrat has destroyed small businesses simply because he or she could.
The Trump administration has used the pandemic to spur a deregulation campaign, notably removing regulations to telemedicine and removing barriers to accelerate coronavirus vaccine or cure development.
One thing the various medical bureaucracies have been good at is preventing people from using their own best judgment when it comes to experimental medical treatments. The FDA is notorious for not allowing sick people with no other hope from trying drugs and treatments that they, the FDA haven’t approved. In many cases, these people are dying and have nothing left to lose. Nope, they haven’t bowed down to their lords and masters in the Deep State, and the sentence will be death.
Thanks to the Governors panicking and murdering the best economy we’ve had in decades, President Trump is going to have to go back to work and fix things again. November will be critical to the future of America. Reelect President Trump, and clean out the scum and deadwood on both the House and Senate, and continue restoring America. Hand everything back to the Uniparty and CommuNazis, and kiss America goodbye.
