Good day all. President Trump, after becoming frustrated with San Fran Nan Pelosi’s refusal to work with him to aid people who have been devastated by the incompetence of the nations governors, (Locking down the country and wrecking the economy), announced that he has signed four executive orders to provide some relief.
Now there is some questions regarding the constitutionality of these orders, and President Trump seems to be quite aware of this. He is rumored to have told them to “Sue Me” with regards to this question. (President Trump will fight tooth and nail in the courts, but does abide by their final decisions and look for other, lawful and constitutional ways to achieve his goals. He also generally wins in the courts in any case)
At this point, it doesn’t matter if the orders are constitutional or if the courts order them to be suspended. President Trump has once again boxed in the Democrats and shown that they don’t care at all about the regular American. Here are some of the details in a column by Tyler O’Neil in PJ Media:
President Donald Trump issued four executive orders extending relief during the coronavirus pandemic after Democrats in Congress refused to compromise with the White House to pass a relief bill. Trump has almost certainly exceeded his authority with these orders, and Democrats plan to challenge them in court. Yet by signing these orders, the president called their bluff. Democrats refused to work with him to secure coronavirus relief, planning to make Trump look heartless. In response, the president called their bluff, and now Democrats have to fight against the relief Americans need.
“We have repeatedly stated our willingness to immediately sign legislation providing expanded unemployment benefits, protecting Americans from eviction, and providing additional relief payments to families,” Trump said. “Democrats have refused these offers.”
I will be honest, I am opposed to this. The best relief is to end this bogus lock down and get the country back up and running. The problem is that to many governors are showing that they only care about power and keeping it. (Almost all are Democrats) Still, it does show one thing that is driving the Democrats nuts. President Trump is trying to help people and the Democrats are coming across as the ones saying NO to everything, except aiding only their supporters.
Before signing the relief bills, the president noted that the Democratic package included many items completely unrelated to economic relief during the coronavirus pandemic.
“So the Democrat bill includes stimulus checks for illegal aliens, they require the mass release of illegal aliens from detention, they also compel the mass release of inmates, including serious felons,” Trump said. “What does this have to do with stimulus, the economy? What does this have to do with the coronavirus?”
Generally, nothing, but then the Democrats are using the Wuhan Flu as a means to gain total control over the government and turn America into a soviet style communist country, (With themselves in charge)
In the most recent round of negotiations, Pelosi demanded an extra $1 trillion to bail out state and local governments, even though state governments have not yet used up the money from the CARES Act. Pelosi has also engaged in despicable rhetoric, accusing Republicans of “trying to get away with murder, the murder of George Floyd” because they disagree with a few of her proposals on criminal justice reform.
Well now, if they expect the police officers currently charged to actually be convicted, they might want to review some of the evidence, like the autopsy report. There was no indication of damage to Floyd’s neck and throat, and his toxicology report indicated he was loaded to the gills with drugs and appears to have overdosed. Also the footage from the cameras the officers had on somehow “Leaked out” and shows the opposite of what the officers were accused of. (Information the DA had and appears to have ignored)
It isn’t just Pelosi, either. Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has endorsed the House speaker’s shenanigans, claiming that the coronavirus pandemic is an “opportunity” for “structural change” on everything from voting to climate change.
Pelosi has played extremely stupid games, and this is her stupid prize: leading a Democratic effort to challenge executive orders extending coronavirus relief to the American people. I don’t agree with Trump’s move here, but I must admit that it is quite simply brilliant.
I recently called this a “win win win win” situation for President Trump.
First, The Democrats sue and win, stopping the EO, they are shown as not caring about the country.
Second, if they sue and lose and they show they don’t care about the country.
Third the Democrats do nothing and they are shown as useless idiots.
Finally, Congress finally passes something that passes constitutional muster and is something close to what Trump wins. He’s seen as a tough negotiator who, when required, will uses a large hammer to get Congress and Pelosi’s attention.
No matter what happens, it will not end well for San Fran Nan, Slow Joe Biden or the rest of the Democrats. Once again, they are playing checkers and President Trump is playing three dimensional chess.
