Good day all. Barack Obama, the worst president in the History of the United States, continues to show why he is despised by all real Americans. He recently went on a tirade regarding America’s love of cars and cheap gas, two things he tried to take away from people during his reign of error.
Thanks to the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald J. Trump, the United States is now a net energy exporter for the first time in at least 60 years. Gas prices are the lowest they’ve been in a decade and people are buying new, bigger cars. This, according to The Fubar, is a bad thing. Here is what this Stuttering ClusterFool of a Miserable Failure had to say from Fox Business:
Former President Barack Obama, in his latest memoir, criticized Americans for liking “cheap gas and big cars” more than they care about “the environment” – even during a catastrophic event like the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The comments came during a section in Obama’s 700-page book, “A Promised Land,” released earlier this month.
On page 570, the former commander in chief recounts a press conference he gave more than a month into the oil spill – now considered one of the largest in history – saying his comments did not adequately express the frustration he truly felt.
“Reading the transcript now, a decade later, I’m struck by how calm and cogent I sound,” Obama writes in his book. “Maybe I’m surprised because the transcript doesn’t register what I remember feeling at the time or come close to capturing what I really wanted to say before the assembled White House press corps.”
I had to do a little searching to refresh my memory on the Deep Water Horizon disaster. As I recall, and from what I found online, British Petroleum had leased the drilling rig. Prior to their taking control, the rig had been running very safely. BP has a history of neglecting repairs and pushing to cut costs. The rig was in the process of closing down the site when the blowout and explosion occurred. Every single safety system failed. I located a basic timeline from Schechter, McElwee, Shaffer & Harris. As for Obama? He was the beneficiary of large campaign donations from BP. Here are a few details from that notoriously conservative site, Politico:
While the BP oil geyser pumps millions of gallons of petroleum into the Gulf of Mexico, President Barack Obama and members of Congress may have to answer for the millions in campaign contributions they’ve taken from the oil and gas giant over the years.
During his time in the Senate and while running for president, Obama received a total of $77,051 from the oil giant and is the top recipient of BP PAC and individual money over the past 20 years, according to financial disclosure records.
Obama has always been a very good liar. He is also a devotee of Government of all and that a socialist, totalitarian state doing central planning would always be the best way to handle things, especiall if he was in charge.
What he really wanted to say was that government regulatory agencies were not fully equipped to address an environmental accident because many American voters for decades had “bought into the idea that government was the problem and that business always knew better, and had elected leaders who made it their mission to gut environmental regulations, starve agency budgets, denigrate civil servants, and allow industrial polluters to do whatever the hell they wanted to do.”

He then chastised Americans for not being willing to foot the bill for technology to “quickly plug the hole because it would be expensive to have such technology on hand, and we Americans didn’t like paying higher taxes—especially when it was to prepare for problems that hadn’t happened yet.”
And what is The Great Mistake’s answer to all this? About what you would expect from him.
The only way to truly prevent another catastrophe, like the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Obama says, “was to stop drilling entirely.”
The issue wasn’t not enough regulations, it was not actually enforcing the ones already in place. BP was notorious for cutting maintenance budgets and taking shortcuts to increase their bottom line. Obama was always quick to attack and when he could, destroy American businesses, and the American way of life. He hasn’t changed one bit. When the Greatest President of the 21st Century came in to office, he began cleaning up the regulatory slave state Obama had created. With that, we saw an economic boom that was unprecedented in American history, a far cry from the 8 year recession, (And don’t believe a word saying it wasn’t a recession/depression. It was)
Obama has been sour about “His Legacy” being tossed on the ash heap of history and President Trump showing how big a failure Obama actually was. This is just another screech for attention from the corrupt, incompetent, narcissistic megalomaniac we were stuck with for 8 long years. Of course, those who have been tongue bathing Obama will jump for joy at his latest load of manure. The rest of us have long since put that loser behind us. Obama should just do us all a favor and just fade away into obscurity.
