Good day all. Anthony Fauci, allegedly a doctor, has single handily done more to hurt Americans then pretty much anyone else in a long time. He has been flip flopping on pretty much everything with regards to the Wuhan Flu, and has, to be blunt, been wrong about most of it.
He has been big on pushing people to wear face diapers even thought they really don’t do what he claims they do, which is provide protection from the China Virus. He’s even said people should wear 2 masks. Now this overpaid bureaucrat is saying that we will need to wear masks for the foreseeable future. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CBS on Wednesday that while mask wearing “depends on the level of the virus in the community,” it’s still broadly necessary to avoid “another surge.”
In an interview on “CBS This Morning,” host Gayle King noted that attendees at a recent Texas Rangers baseball game were seen seated closely together with many not wearing masks, and asked if it’s acceptable for people at events to not wear masks.
“Well, you know, it depends on the level of the virus in the community, Gayle,” Fauci said. “That’s the important point. That’s the thing that I and several of my colleagues in the public health arena, the director of the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and others, are saying.”
He added, “Every day that goes by, we get closer and closer to where we want to be. And we don’t want people now all of a sudden to declare victory prematurely and then feed into what is a potential surge. What we are seeing, if you look at the numbers every day, we have that peak, we came down, we plateaued, and we got stuck there. Now we’re starting to inch up in several states, increases in cases as opposed to a leveling off and decreasing. We’ve got to hang in there and not completely pull back on several of the mitigation methods of public health because if we do that we’re tempting another surge.”
The whole Panicdemic has been a complete bust. We were told that we need to stay home for a couple of weeks to allow hospitals to get ready for the 10’s of millions of people who were going to become deathly ill. It turned out that was grossly overstated by orders of magnitude. Then it was a couple of months to allow the virus to “Burn out.” That was yet another load of crap. Finally we were ordered to wear masks or else.
All we have seen is the virtual end of the constitutional rights of the people due to this wanker’s ineptitude and desire to look important. This jumped up petty tyrant and the whole CDC bureaucracy have assumed authority they do not have, and have been slammed by the courts on several occasions. They’ve been ignoring rulings against their orders, one of them being the order banning landlords from evicting people who don’t pay their rent.
He’s also been rather circumspect regarding the vaccine “Passports” that many on the Left want to force people to use. He’s recently said that the government shouldn’t do this, but has left the door open for private businesses.
When asked about businesses requiring vaccines for people working in offices or coming into a business for an event, Fauci said that while he can’t “come out and officially say” whether or not he would support such a requirement, “here’s almost certainly going to be what you predicted. Namely, there are going to be organizations … which are going to do just what you indicated. They’re going to say we’re not going to have you come in unless you get vaccinated. You’re not going to see that from a federal government mandate. But I mean, I would be surprised if we did not see that at the local level.”
State governments, with the notable exceptions of New York and one or two other CommuNazi controlled areas, have been putting the kibosh on that, first with executive orders as a stop gap and then with legislation. There is also the problem of HIPPA. If a business were to say, fire you because you won’t provide proof of inoculation, you could take them to court for violating your medical privacy rights. I’ll leave that to those who are legal seagulls.
He added that “from a public health standpoint, the more people we would get vaccinated, yes, it would help, the better off we would be.”
If people want to get vaccinated, fine, let them. If people don’t, fine, let them. I’m one of those who feels that since there are people who want the vaccine, and are unable to get it due to shortages, then I will forego getting it so that others may benefit from my “Sacrifice.”
The masks that are generally in use are about as good at stopping a virus as a chain link fence is at stopping a mosquito. The ones made out of cloth are even worse. Everyone I know hates them, including myself. I only wear one when I have no choice in the matter. We recently has a local gym teacher in New Hampshire who was fired because he wouldn’t make the students wear masks outside in the wind.
It’s now time to fight back. In the 60’s women burned their bras, (Much to the joy of the men), claiming they were tools of oppression or something. I think it’s time to start burning the face diapers, and tell Fauci the Fascist that he should go spend more time with his grandkids.
