Milley now in full CYA mode, claims he wanted troops left in Afghanistan

Good day all. General Milley has been both a disgrace and disaster as the Army Chief of Staff, and many believe he should be removed and court martialed over some of the things he did during the Trump administration. Now he seems to be moving into full “Cover Your Ass” mode regarding the Biden Bug Out and the fall of Kabul.

As we know, President Bumbles Dementia lived up to his reputation of being dead wrong about everything when he announced he was running away from Afghanistan and surrendering to the Taliban. Many people in congress asked why the military didn’t try to tell Dementia Joe that he was on the wrong track. Now it seems Milley and the Secretary of Defense have decided to throw President Bumbles Dementia under the bus and see how he likes it. Here are the details from Fox News:

Top military officials on Tuesday testified that they assessed that the U.S. should maintain a presence of at least 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin admitting that their input was “received” by President Biden, despite Biden’s claims to the contrary.

Oh I think this is going to be popcorn worthy.

Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, and head of U.S. Central Command Gen. Kenneth McKenzie appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday for a public hearing on the Biden administration’s chaotic military withdrawal from Afghanistan. McKenzie and Milley both testified that they recommended maintaining a presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

“I won’t share my personal recommendation to the president, but I will give you my honest opinion and my honest opinion and view shaped my recommendation,” McKenzie testified. “And I recommended that we maintain 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.

McKenzie said he made a similar recommendation in the fall of 2020 under the Trump administration, which also had intentions to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan, saying, at the time, he recommended the U.S. maintain at least 4,000 troops.

“I also have a view that the withdrawal of those forces would lead inevitably to the collapse of the Afghan military forces and eventually the Afghan government,” McKenzie testified.

And what was President Trump’s response to this? Was he listening? Did he have questions? I suspect he did, and I suspect we will be hearing about this from the Trump Camp in the coming days. (And the Communazi Propaganda Corps will ignore it or twist it as they always do)

Milley was also pressed on the matter, saying that while he would not share his “personal” recommendations made to the president, his assessment was, “back in the fall of 2020, and remained consistent throughout, that we should keep a steady state of 2,500 and it could bounce up to 3,500, maybe, something like that, in order to move toward a negotiated solution.”

Was this before you called the Communist Chinese Government and betrayed your oath or after?

Austin was asked whether the president received the personal recommendations from his top military advisers like Milley and McKenzie.

“Their input was received by the president and considered by the president for sure,” Austin testified.

Now the question is, did President Dementia actually remember the recommendation or was he thinking about getting an ice cream cone and watching reruns of Murder She Wrote? The White House Press Corps asked Reach Around Psaki about this.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki tweeted during the hearing in response to their testimony: “As @POTUS told ABC, ending the war in Afghanistan was in our national interest. He said advice was split, but consensus of top military advisors was 2500 troops staying meant escalation due to deal by the previous admin.”

“@SecDef, the Chairman, and GEN McKenzie all reiterated,” she added.

So, if I understand this, They made the initial recommendation to President Trump and it looks like he accepted the rationale. Since President Trump thought it was a good idea, the meat puppet acting as President, his string pullers and his staffers all thought it was a bad idea and ignored it.

As the Biden administration began the withdrawal of military assets, provincial capitals across Afghanistan began to fall to the Taliban. By mid-August, the Taliban attained control of two-thirds of Afghanistan. And by the time the U.S. withdrew all U.S. troops from the country on Aug. 31, Kabul had also fallen to the Taliban. In mid-August, U.S. intelligence assessments projected the capital city could fall to the Taliban within 90 days.

Which was just fine with Dementia Joe. To him, it was just another day at the office as he stabbed an ally in the back. A few air strikes, some actions by Special Operations Command, along with supplies, parts and letting the Afghan government and troops know that we had their back probably would have stopped this in it’s tracks. That and not Bugging Out at the worst possible time of year.

In his opening statement, Austin explained that “noncombatant evacuations” are among “the most challenging” of military operations, even under the best of circumstances.

“Circumstances in August were anything but ideal – extreme heat, a landlocked country, no government, a highly dynamic situation on the ground, and an active, credible and lethal terrorist threat,” Austin said. “In the span of just two days, from the 13th to the 15th of August, we went from working alongside a democratically-elected longtime partner government, to coordinating, warily, with a longtime enemy.”

The Biden Bug Out will be studied by military’s everywhere on how NOT to evacuate in a situation such as Afghanistan. You don’t give up the main airbase that is set up to handle the expected traffic, and is defensible. You don’t abandoned Americans, You don’t leave equipment in an operational state and you don’t stab an ally in the back.

The withdrawal concluded on Aug. 31, with the U.S. evacuating more than 124,000 individuals – including 6,000 Americans.

But administration officials admitted to leaving more than 100 American citizens behind. Administration officials, though, said their mission in Afghanistan had shifted from a military mission to a diplomatic one, with some saying they were working with the Taliban to ensure safe passage for those Americans and U.S. visa holders, as well as some Afghan allies, to evacuate the country.

The reports of the actual number of American Citizens abandoned by Bumbles Dementia and the Pentagon Powerpoint commandos is growing. The number of green card holders is in the thousands, and all of them should have been evacuated long before that mush for brains president pulled the military out. I won’t even bother stating the obvious that all the equipment that was left behind should have been removed or destroyed.

Now we will be seeing what the senile pedophile, President Dementia, will do next. This has all the appearance of setting the stage for the removal from office of Joe Biden, probably through the 25th Amendment. While Dementia Joe has no real idea what’s going on, you can bet that “Herr Doktor” Jill Biden is going to slip on another pair of fishnets and fight her removal, I mean Dementia Joe’s removal from office tooth and nail. Interesting times are coming.
