Good day all. September 21st, President Bumbles “Meat Puppet” Dementia went to the United Nations and showed the world that yes, he really is an idiot. He also announced that, as far as he’s concerned, we’re done with Afghanistan.
Of course, Dementia Joe didn’t bother to talk about the Americans, numbering anywhere between 100 and 1000 people, the Legal Resident Aliens, (Green Card holders), or those who have or have been waiting for visas to come here lawfully. Why not you ask? He, his handlers and those pulling his strings don’t care about them. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
President Joe Biden claimed, Tuesday, in a speech to the United Nations, that the United States has “turned the page” on the war in Afghanistan, even as dozens — and perhaps hundreds — of Americans remain trapped behind enemy lines with the State Department unable to gain leverage over the Taliban to ensure evacuations.
“We stand, in my view, at an inflection point in history. And I’m here today to share with you how the U.S. plans to stand with partners and allies in answering these questions,” Biden said, apparently directly addressing concerns from coalition partners raised following his administration’s decision to leave Afghanistan on a self-imposed timeline.
With his bug out, and the abandonment of thousands of American citizens, legal resident aliens, visa holders and $80 billion in high end military equipment, Dementia Joe has solidified his place in history. It isn’t the place he, if her were mentally competent, wants to be. As for our “Partners?” They are steaming mad over what this lying POS did.
“I stand here today for the first time in 20 years with the United States not at war. We’ve turned the page,” Biden claimed.
“Twenty years of conflict in Afghanistan, and as we close this period of relentless war we’re opening a new era of relentless diplomacy,” Biden added. “Of using the power of our development aid to invest in new ways of lifting people up around the world.”
Obviously, Mushmind has forgotten why we went in there. Of course, he is a Democrat and they have a long history of being, much like Dementia Joe, not only wrong about everything, but actively aiding our enemies. What President Bumbles Dementia has shown the world is that he is nothing more then an Ice Cream eating surrender monkey.
The U.S. government, however, is having difficulty “lifting up” Americans who are stranded in Afghanistan.
They aren’t having any problems with them. They have told them they are on their own.
Although the State Department initially claimed that between 100 and 200 Americans who wanted to leave the country remained following the American withdrawal, a more recent report noted that around 100 Americans still remain, even as around 100 have been rescued.
I’m now seeing reports, as yet unverified, that there could be as many as 1000 citizens still trapped and unable to get out. They’re probably scattered all over the country and got caught up when the Taliban overran the place thanks to Bumbles Dementia’s standard Progressive sell out of the Afghan government. (Just like he did with the ARVN in 1975) They are also not counting those who have green cards. These are generally Afghans who legally immigrated to America and went back to visit family, or to try and get them out once they saw what Mushmind was going to do. (Run bravely away)
Thirty more Americans left on a commercial flight Saturday, per a State Department spokesman.
“State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement on Saturday that a Qatar Airways charter flight departed Kabul on Friday with 28 U.S. citizens and seven lawful permanent residents,” according to The Hill. “The announcement comes as the U.S. seeks to evacuate approximately 100 remaining American citizens who stayed in Afghanistan following the U.S.’s full withdrawal of troops on Aug. 31.”
My question is, were these people actually helped by the vermin at the State Department, or was it the usual thing? You know, private citizens and members of congress working to rescue Americans and the State Department doing everything the could to hinder and block them? Then, once they got out, rush in and claim credit.
It is not clear whether the State Department is keeping an accurate count of the remaining American citizens, or whether they are working independently to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies.
I think we all know the answer to that of course.
As The Daily Wire noted last week, the State Department claimed it had “pulled all the levers” but that flights with American passengers remained on the ground at Mazar-i-Sharif (MAZ) airport.
The State Department has made many claims, pretty much all of them false. It’s been private citizens and members of Congress doing all the work. The State Department has been doing two things. Making the rounds of the Beltway cocktail circuit and doing everything they can to block people from escaping the country.
Conservative radio host Glenn Beck announced Monday that his non-governmental organization and several partner NGOs were working with Pakistan’s government to negotiate with the Taliban and secure those flights’ release, as well as to secure a landing site.
Beck was clear, in a radio update, that Americans are among those waiting to be evacuated from MAZ, calling the effort both “miraculous and horrendous.”
But…but…but the Reach Around Psaki has stated that any American still in Afghanistan want to stay there. Is she providing erroneous information? Say it isn’t so!
There are also thousands of coalition allies, green card holders, and Afghans with special immigrant visas still in Afghanistan with no timeline for evacuation.
Oh there is a Time line. The clock starts when Hell freezes over and not one second earlier.
According to National Review’s Jim Geraghty, the situation is dire for those left behind.
A source told Geraghty at least one particular evacuee is “still getting the run around from State on visa interviews for wife and children. There is still no system in place. It’s as if State has given up developing a reasonable alternative, and the only thing they have to offer is ‘come see us if you can.’”
I did not watch the Senile Meat Puppet at the United Nations. Everything I’ve read or heard has said it was a flaming dumpster fire. President Bumbles Dementia claims he has “Turned the page.” What he meant was that they are just fine with hundreds or thousands of Americans left in the hands of the Taliban. For this alone, Biden and all of his “People” need to be removed from office and prosecuted. For what you might ask? I don’t think Treason as defined by the Constitution is off the table.
