Good day all. This tragic story is coming out of the People’s Republic of Seattle. A 13 year old boy had to watch his father die, even though he called 911 because the city’s idiotic vaccination policies have caused a massive shortage of trained personnel.
The Blue cities and states have been in the forefront of basically tearing up the Constitution and moving towards tyranny. With the Great Panicdemic of 2020, they finally had their opportunity to go all in on instituting the police state they’ve always wanted, just not with real police. Between defunding police and firing others who refuse to be guinea pigs for the drug companies, response times are skyrocketing, and now it’s costing lives. Here are the details from Fox News:
Staffing shortages in Seattle, due in part to the city’s vaccine mandate for emergency workers, resulted in a 13-year-old boy watching his father die after he suffered a medical emergency.
Last week, the 13-year-old called 911 to report that his father was having a medical emergency but when Seattle Fire arrived they were told to wait for police before entering and Seattle police took 15 minutes to arrive which delayed the medics who were unable to save the father, according to MyNorthwest.com.
You may be wondering how this could possibly happen. The answer is, sadly, simple and predictable.
The police precinct was reportedly down to two officers and was leaning on non-patrol volunteers to meet minimum staffing levels.

In two 911 calls, a 13-year-old Seattle teen pleaded for help as his father suffered a medical emergency in their apartment. But what would normally elicit an immediate response was delayed, and the father died. First responders blame the city’s ongoing staffing crisis, which was worsened by the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The morale among Seattle’s police and fire departments is virtually nonexistent thanks to the Marxist morons running the place. (Right into the ground) The Seattle police department has seen a large number of officers either retire or flat out quit. Add to this some flat out wrong information, and you would have to be blind not to see this as a recipie for disaster.
When Seattle Fire arrived, they were told to wait for police before entering. The address was flagged as unsafe for Seattle Fire to enter. At the time, the precinct was down two officers, leaning on non-patrol volunteers to meet minimum staffing levels. It took Seattle police 15 minutes to arrive, delaying medics from performing life-saving measures. Despite their best efforts, the father died. And it turns out the address was flagged due to a previous tenant and did not apply to its current residents.
Anywhere else in the country, at least in those areas where the elected officials AREN’T Marxist Morons, the police would have either arrived at the same time as the paramedics or a few minutes before. They would have quickly determined that the information on the tenant was out of date and started what emergency procedures they could until the paramedics arrived. Instead, they’re basically crippled as an organization, and, in the case of Seattle, the blame can be put directly on the Mayor.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan’s COVID vaccine mandate crippled already understaffed police and fire departments. They do not have enough employees to respond to emergency calls. And through no fault of Seattle police or Seattle Fire, a man is dead when he might have been saved.

Seattle has experienced a severe police staffing shortage since the George Floyd riots in 2020 and the North Precinct, where the teen lived, is the slowest precinct to respond to 911 calls. An August 2021 report shows the average response time for emergencies in progress was nearly 13 minutes in Q2 of this year and the average response time for “priority 2” calls was 61 minutes.
This is absolutely unacceptable. One of the functions of local government is to provide services that individuals may not be able to do themselves. This is why taxes are paid. Instead, you have a bunch of flaming progressive moonbats who are more interested in rainbows and buses powered by unicorn farts then actually doing their job. Add to that these totalitarian mandates driving police and first responders off the job and you have set up everything needed for a disaster.
Seattle’s vaccine mandate for first responders has exacerbated the staffing issues taking 100 officers off the streets in October and leaving the police department with under 1,000 deployable officers.
“One call could take out an entire precinct, wiping us out completely,” one officer told the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH.
The Seattle city council doesn’t care. They are going full on Defund the police and who cares who gets killed, as long as their personal “Feelz” are in a safe place.
In the 2022 budget, the Seattle City Council has proposed slashing the police budget by $11 million which includes cutting hiring incentives.
Normally I would say that the entire city government should be dragged out and strung up from lamp posts, but what would be the point? The idiots in Seattle would just replace them with more idiots. If this happened in a “Red” state, (A blue city gutting their police and causing unnecessary loss of life, the State would move in and remove the local government, probably charging them with manslaughter.
Washington State however, is a left coast socialist workers paradise and their governor is fully on board with gutting law enforcement and letting cities burn and honest people die. The State government is just as culpable as the Seattle city government. Is it any wonder that the inland counties want to move to Idaho?
