Good day all. Thanks to the flat out stupidity and incompetence at every level of the maladministration of Poopypants Biden, there is a frighteningly good chance that Russia is going to invade and conquer the Ukraine.
This has many people worried about what would happen to any Americans who get caught up in this if Vladimir Putin decides he wants to add the Ukraine to his new Russian Empire. Allegedly, the maladministration is making plans to shaft evacuate any Americans currently in the Ukraine. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Fresh from the debacle of withdrawing from Afghanistan, where American citizens were left behind in the chaos from the Biden administration’s pullout, a report has emanated that the Biden administration, led by the Pentagon, is making plans to evacuate Americans from Ukraine if needed should the Russians invade their western neighbor. One source told CNN that the Biden administration does not want to be caught “flat-footed” if the Russians invade.
Not caught flat footed? You mean like in Afghanistan? Oh wait! These morons knew damn well what was going to happen, and still managed to screw up by the numbers. There are still hundreds, perhaps a thousand or more American men, Women and children, not to mention thousands of Green Card holders still trying to get out of that hell hole Dementia Joe created.
CNN quoted sources saying that the Pentagon is considering various options, from an evacuation of nonessential US government employees to an evacuation that would also include other American citizens. The decision as to whether to evacuate would be left to the State Department. “Right now some planning is underway by the State Department’s diplomatic security for either an authorized or ordered departure of diplomats from the country should the situation warrant it, a source familiar with the discussions said,” CNN reported.
So, it looks like they State Department is going to do a repeat of the Afghanistan Bug Out. Get the “Important People” out and abandon everyone else. Yep, that sounds just like the standard operating procedure for this pack of inept incompetents. I suspect that Putin, unlike the Taliban, really doesn’t have any interest in harming average Americans, and won’t go hunting them down and killing them.
However, that is only one small part of the problem. The big part is that he’s even considering invading the Ukraine in the first place. Russia’s military has some serious manpower issues, although they have been re-equipping for the last few years. They can’t use the old soviet tactics of “Hey diddle diddle, straight up the middle” in one frontal assault after the other.
If the Ukrainian military, such as it is, can inflict really heavy losses on the Russians, it might cause Putin some serious problems on the home front. On the other hand, the Ukrainians would be well advised to not expect anything from Dementia Joe or the maladministration. You know, things like weapons, ammunition and lots of anti-armor missiles. Dementia Joe won’t even consider that, unless the Ukrainian government has been buying Hoovernose’s “art.”
Now the reason that Russia wants to invade the Ukraine are varied of course. Part of it is historical. They consider the Ukraine to be their property, much as the Chinese Communist Party considers Taiwan to be the property of China. They’re also concerned about the possibility of the Ukraine becoming part of NATO. If that happens, then the window for invasion closes, unless Putin wants World War 3. (He might of course)
As for NATO, the best thing Putin could do would be to say “Our war game drills are now concluded” and send the troops back to their bases, and then just wait. NATO is all but a dead letter and has been since the Soviet Union collapsed. Eventually, reality will hit the Europeans between the eyes and NATO will formally dissolve. Why risk war when patience would be cheaper in the long run?
As for the current maladministration, they are, as expected, once again showing that Obama did get a couple of things right. One of them was understanding what an epic failure Dementia Joe Biden is. He and his handlers are right on track to “F**K things up.” If Russia attacks, there is a very good chance they won’t stop until they hit the Rhine river. Considering how depleted the defenses are, the only thing that will slow the Russians down would be logistics. In that event, you will see thousands of Americans trapped behind Russian lines, and you can expect that President Bumbles Dementia will abandon them just as fast as he did the Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
